Position Summary:
 

Responsible for the analysis, design, prototyping, and verification OCR technical solutions used in the automation of enterprise processes. In this role, the OCR Technical Architect will work directly with multiple technical automation teams in the OCR, ECM, BPM, AI, and RPA space to capture requirements and translate the requirements into solutions.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 
  • Provide leadership, technology design expertise, and consultation in the development, integration, launch, scaling, and maintenance of new and existing OCR products and solutions.
  • Clearly capture, document, and communicate OCR solutions and architectural designs for team and internal business reviews.
  • Promote use of innovative technologies and best practices for product development initiatives.
  • Identify key application design patterns and standard application frameworks. Participate in the selection of application development platform technologies.
  • Guides OCR initiatives to align with the overall automation portfolio and platform blueprint.
  • Provides design direction to application developers including how to construct and integrate products. Define fine-grained components, APIs, and frameworks of the automation solutions.
  • Lead in the investigation and resolution of complex application issues.
  • Work with developers and business owners in an agile, CI/CD environment focused on incrementally delivering value to ADP and ADP's clients. Participate in scrum ceremonies such as planning, estimation, demos, and retrospectives.
 

Required Skills/Experience:

 
  • 3+ years technical experience developing solutions using OCR and cognitive technology for data capture for a high volume, enterprise solution
  • 5+ years of experience defining and developing enterprise solutions in a large corporate environment using multiple web and application server technologies.
  • 5+ years of hands on development experience using development languages such as Java, C#, node.js, or Python
  • 5+ years of experience using web technologies including APIs, micro services, web components, and digital interfaces.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies creating enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills needed
 

Desired Skills:

 
  • Multiple years of experience in ECM, BPM, AI, or RPA technology
