The U.S. Wealth Management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Securities and You Invest - our digital investing platform. The combined business has ~$400 billion in Assets under Management and ~4,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices.


The Business Growth Team is responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to reach the ambitious USWM growth objectives. The team works across four areas from planning to execution:

  • Defining the long term growth for the business;

  • Partnering with business executives to build and execute on strategic initiatives;

  • Managing the delivery of the growth plan and ensuring value capture;

  • Incubating and piloting select initiatives in a test and learn format.


The team is looking for an independent strong performer to help drive key business initiatives.


 Responsibilities include:


  • Work closely with relevant functions / partners (e.g., CWM, J.P Morgan Securities, You Invest, Finance, Practice Management, Marketing, Legal, Compliance etc.) to take strategic initiatives from concept to execution

  • Structure and build quantitative, qualitative, and conceptual analyses to support the leadership decisions in key initiatives

  • Analyze business data and identify implications for the team

  • Build customer journeys and operating models to ensure new field/sales roles in the branches and  outside the branches deliver the best customer experience and fit seamlessly with the existing field roles

  • Contribute to the design of new distribution channels (e.g., remote advice, out-of-branch distribution sales force) including the definition of the new advice roles, operating model, customer experience and compensation

  • Prepare well-structured and concise presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to partners and senior leadership

  • Perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources and interviews

  • Work closely with growth initiative owners to track and report progress of growth initiatives, at the operational and metrics level

  • 3+ years of experience at a premier management consulting firm, at an internal consulting/corporate strategy or finance team, or in an investment banking division (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research)

  • Excellent end-to-end generalist problem solving skills and ability to prioritize issues and analysis

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills – ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources

  • An outstanding ability to apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently, and work well in cross-functional teams

  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership

  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers

  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Financial Services, Financial Institutions Group (FIG), or FinTech experience preferred
