Technical Relationship Manager - Strategic Partners

Job Description

This is role is responsible to provide technical leadership across Chase CoBrand partners. Success in this role require thriving at influencing complex technology programs with an API first mindset. It also requires a strong understanding of the business’s big-picture (e.g. roadmap) across multiple initiatives – namely, how can technology help achieve CoBrand business goals. In doing so, strong ability to establish priorities, design, communicate, & influence stakeholder & development teams is required. As an advocate for the Cobrand business and partner, you'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop partner solutions that are broadly applicable. You'll play an integral role in ensuring partner initiatives deliver on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. You’ll work with your partner(s) to set goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.


This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:



  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems

  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages such as Java, J2EE and other Java related tools and APIs

  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices 

  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture 

  • Expert experience managing external partner relationships

  • Extensive experience in build and use of APIs

  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to toggle between push/pull communication styles

  • A strong ability to understand and influence business requirements & reuse technology solutions

  • Ability to analyze requirements and build execution plans in line with technology strategy

  • Ability to provide leadership to the business, partner, and technology teams in resolving production incidents and execution/testing blockers

  • Experience working with high-performing development teams in complex program execution

  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders internal and external to the firm
