Executive Communications Manager-U.S. Wealth Management

Our U.S. Wealth Management team is seeking an executive communications specialist to help drive and support the strategy for our internal communications and speaking engagements.  First and foremost, the ideal candidate will be a creative writer who can make complex ideas understandable and entertaining. You will have access to video, audio and digital resources to help deliver your executives’ messages. Reporting to the Communications Director for U.S. Wealth Management in New York City, you will manage a junior associate and work directly with our CEO and other senior executives.


The U.S. Wealth Management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Securities and You Invest - our digital investing platform. The combined business has ~$400 billion in Assets under Management and ~4,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive an executive communications strategy that helps our management team stay connected to our more than 4,000 field advisors across the country.
  • Create content that is fun, simple and makes our team look forward to reading the messages you write
  • Contribute to and edit daily news updates for our 4,000 advisors
  • Ghost write both internal messages and opinion editorials that our PR team will pitch to media
  • Work with our broadcast production team to deliver our executives’ messages in multi-media formats
  • Partner closely with our content creation team to deliver fresh news and insights to our clients
  • Use data and analytics to measure the team’s performance


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of digital journalism, social media, digital content or other writing experience, preferably at a leading mainstream media outlet, creative agency or a top tier public relations agency.
  • Solid knowledge of business news
  • A self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced, growing business
  • Experience in a multi-media news room or content creation team
