Job Description

As one of the most-followed financial brands, Chase communicates with millions of social media users across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter. Our social media team continues to grow and we’re seeking a Social Media Associate to join our team in New York.


The Role:

The Paid Social Senior Associate will lead social media efforts for several lines of business at Chase. This includes, the creation and execution of social media creative, media plans, targeting strategies, measurement solutions and media optimizations. This position is responsible for developing campaigns that deliver against the end business goals of the lines of business (etc acquisition, brand health, deepening). This candidate must have strong executive presence and be a clear and organized communicator. The Senior Associate should be a pro at running effective meetings, thrive in a problem solving environment and have experience managing multiple stakeholders. This role will work closely with creative and paid media agencies in the development and optimization of these campaigns.

This position is also responsible for working with his or her manager in developing firmwide social media learning agendas, assisting in managing relationships with the social media platforms and partnering with media agencies on social trends and product updates.


Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop creative strategies to acquire new customers and drive business results on social media

  • Advise internal Chase partners on social media best practices related to creative, media buying, and emerging ad products

  • Manage social marketing campaigns from brief through launch, clearly communicating timelines, status and results

  • Manage multiple agency partners in the development and execution of paid media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter

  • Partner with internal analytics teams to develop complex measurement solutions for paid media campaigns

  • Monitor campaign performance, recommend optimization and identify any emerging trends

  • Develop organic social strategies to compliment paid media campaigns

Firmwide Governance:

  • Oversee firmwide agency initiatives across trending industry topics (e.g., viewability, ad fraud, measurement, targeting)

  • Partner closely with paid media agency to develop firm wide learning agendas across social media platforms.

  • Manage relationships with social media platforms, partner on educating internal stakeholders on new product developments, and collaborate across paid media campaigns

Social Listening & Moderation:

  • Monitor Chase social channels for consumer insights and reputational risk

  • Pull social listening insights, build campaign reports, and present findings to senior leadership 

  • Support the Head of Social Media in project management and operations


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in social media and / or digital marketing

  • Must have a strong background in paid media and be proficient in social media measurement solutions

  • Proven record of managing advertising campaigns on social channels

  • Experience managing external agencies (creative and / or digital media)

  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as social media analytics (e.g., understanding measurement, benchmarks, campaign reporting)

  • Proficiency in native social analytics dashboards (i.e., Twitter Analytics). Experience with Adobe Insights, Sprinklr, Tableau a plus.

  • Strong judgment and decision-making acumen

  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit

  • Excellent writing

  • Executive presence and public speaking capability

  • Strong ability to problem-solve and think critically

  • Ability to self-start and produce high-quality work

  • Proactive by nature and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines 

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives

  • Confidence to pitch fresh ideas within the team, think creatively, and identify and solve

  • problems 

  • Team player with enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Eager to learn, contribute, and make an impact

  • Passionate about digital marketing and social media

  • Experience in customer acquisition and / or media buying a plus

  • Financial Services background / experience a plus
