Within CCB Data & Analytics, the Capabilities & Innovation team acts as product owners for unique solutions that enable our business functions to leverage data and analytics in their day-to-day business operations and drive better customer experience, advanced features and insights, and effective internal operations.



We are looking for Analytics Solutions Associate to be part of our Transaction Data Capabilities & Innovations Product team, help develop a suite of platforms that effectively deliver enriched transaction data directly to our customer-facing channels and internal applications, enabling innovative features on Chase Digital channels, enhancing internal operations, and assisting data science and modeling efforts around the bank. Transaction data is a vast and incredibly rich cross-LOB asset for the firm, yet strong analytics and data techniques are required to make it usable at scale for our operations. Our team employs strong analytical mindset when defining the product roadmap as well as when helping our business partners utilize transaction data for their initiatives. We are also stewards of the transaction data, protecting our customers’ sensitive information from being shared or utilized by 3rd parties.


In this role, you will work with multiple cross-functional teams to drive the product forward, from concept design to implementation and adoption. Working with the product owners, this role will ensure that the product aligns with a diverse set of use cases across business units and well supported as a strategic capability for the firm. You will also be encouraged to make data-driven decisions, employ analytical techniques to simplify operations, and utilize industry-leading technologies, in collaboration with our data science and technology partners.


 We are looking for a strong problem solver, clear communicator, and team player, with a mindset to utilize data analytics to drive decisions and consensus across multiple teams.


Primary areas of responsibilities include:    

  • Product Vision & Definition – understand the business need through stakeholder engagement and help define the product’s vision, solution design, and operating model. Measure the value that the product bring to our customers and our business.
  • Data & Business analysis – analyze data requirements and needs in a structured manner, translate the analysis into tangible and tactical work plan and next steps in the context of Product’s vision and objectives
  • Product Deployment – collaborate with the functional teams (data science, software engineering, database engineering, application management, etc.) to ensure end-to-end delivery of the product, identifying and managing dependencies and/or opportunities for collaboration while following core Agile principles
  • Product Adoption – facilitate adoption of the product by initial use cases and promote the product’s value proposition to additional potential use cases to increase adoption
  • Product Assessment – employ data analytics to measure the success of the product; establish a framework and operating model to continue ensuring the quality of the product over time
  • Data governance and controls – be vigilant in following CCB’s data use, privacy, legal, and compliance guidelines as well as be a contributor to the firm’s enhancement of data governance, use, and management principles and tools


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1-3 years with business analysis or product analysis experience, technology consulting, or relevant transferrable skills
  • Superior written and oral communication and presentations kills with experience communicating effectively with a diverse audiences – across business and technology partners, including senior leadership
  • Experience with database or application design working with technology partners
  • Self-starter with out-of-box problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous tasks on track
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with data analytics and/or visualization techniques, such as SQL language, Tableau dashboards, Excel pivot table wizard, as well as big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Cassandra, AWS, etc is a plus
  • Experience working in Agile manner, writing lean user stories and requirements that drive efficient development with technology partners
  • Financial services and retail banking background is a plus
