Within this group, the North American MNC team covers the North American subsidiaries of global multinational companies headquartered in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, across various sectors. We help our clients meet their objectives and challenges in financing, risk management, working capital, investments and cash management. Clients benefit from dedicated coverage provided by experienced Regional Corporate Bankers and Treasury Sales Managers, who deliver the firm's extensive product platform in North America. We leverage the presence of JPMorgan Chase in more than 60 countries worldwide and the capital strength of the bank to help clients grow their business.

As a central part of the firm's plans to further expand its successful international banking franchise, the Global Corporate Bank offers exciting opportunities as a place to work.

We are currently recruiting for a VP level Banker to cover the North American subsidiaries of European High-Growth Technology companies with a strong focus on Fintech companies. This position will report into an Executive Director and is based in New York City.

Core responsibilities of preferred candidate include:
• New business development, execution and relationship management for existing European High-Growth Technology clients as well as prospects.
• Developing forward-looking business plans for clients and maintaining existing business relationships.
• Conducting comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products across Debt Capital Markets, Risk Management, Wholesale Payments and Asset Management. Converting client analysis into concrete financial solutions.
• Building and developing coverage of the GCB-selected clients, working and coordinating with partners such as Treasury Services, Merchant Services, Debt Capital Markets, Markets, Asset Management and Investment Bank Client Executives where such coverage exists.
• Marketing in-scope Investment Banking products (including: traditional credit product, public bonds, private placements, ABS/conduit, FX, rates and commodities) and all non-IB products (including: Treasury Services, Trade Finance, Commercial Cards, Merchant Services and Investment Management).
• Working closely with Treasury Sales Managers in Europe and the USA, Implementation and Customer Service teams to ensure the highest level of understanding of clients’ requirements and ongoing satisfaction
• Working closely with partners in Europe and the USA to help identify new areas of product growth across portfolio / prospect clients
• Driving discussions with Risk partners around the onboarding of new clients and expansion of existing business relationships in line with JPMorgan’s priorities and risk appetite.
• Role will require travel to meet clients in North America and Europe.


Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
• Excellent written and oral communication in English
• Strong analytical skill set, commercial judgment and influencing abilities
• Strong interpersonal and client prospecting skills and ability to lead and work in a cross-cultural team environment.
• Bachelor's degree
• Must pass SIE, Series 79 and 63 exams prior to joining


Preferred experience, knowledge or skills:
• Knowledge of J.P. Morgan's processes and products is a plus
• Established network or experience working with High-Growth Technology companies, particularly Fintech companies
• Experience selling or working with a broad range of corporate banking products
• Fluency in a European language
