The Digital Product organization is a motivated, forward thinking team comprised of high-talent individuals with a singular focus of delivering innovative banking services via the most important platforms of today and tomorrow. The vision of this team is to grow the Chase payment volumes by making it an easy, confidence-inspiring and value-added experience for our customers. Working in collaboration with all lines of business in JPMorgan Chase - from Retail, Card, Business, Commercial, to Private Bank - we ideate how to solve our customer’s needs, refine solutions, help build and then launch payments innovations. The Role:

We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Manager to be part of the Digital Payment Product Team who will take a leading role in shaping and managing the strategy and business operations of Chase Digital Payments and:

  • Synthesize insights on industry trends and competitive dynamics
  • Engage and build relationships with multiple lines of businesses, e.g., Retail Banking, Business Banking, Private Bank etc.) and functional areas (e.g., Technology, Finance, Design, Operations, Risk & Controls, etc.)
  • Synthesize industry trends and competitive insights
  • Understand customer concerns and themes that impact customer perception across channels
  • Partner closely with product teams, lines of business and Finance to shape the Payments Product Development roadmap, supporting the development of business cases for new products and product enhancements to enable prioritization and justify investments
  • Measure value delivered in partnership with Analytics and Finance for periodic review along Payments-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Understand spend and drive consistency and discipline across the team
  • Develop executive level presentations on product strategy, priorities, and value

  • Drive strategic initiatives, e.g., with partners in Operations, Field Readiness, Controls

  • Be part of a team that launches industry-first digital capabilities for our customers 


Qualifications:


The requirements for this role are as follows: 

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's/MBA degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a strategy, product, financial planning or a related role
  • Financial industry and Payments background is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way
  • Thought-leader who looks for innovation opportunities for our clients and business operations improvement opportunities for our firm
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous, and regulatory deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong presentation skills and effective communication with a variety of stakeholders
  • Passion about digital product and industry
