Team Description


The Global Operations Innovation Office is responsible for scaling utilization of proven tools/solutions and building capabilities to drive innovation across the Firm. The Ops Innovation landscape spans Intelligent Automation, Client Service Innovation, and Workforce & Process Discovery, and partners closely with LOBs and Corporate functions to drive initiatives firmwide. The team sits within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Strategic Initiatives (CSI) organization. CSI includes a portfolio of cross-LOB initiatives supporting the Global Operations agenda of the Firm.

Role Description


The Global Ops Innovation Office is currently expanding to build out an additional discipline called WorkSmarter, which drives employee-led productivity efforts across the Firm. WorkSmarter delivers information on productivity tools and techniques directly to employees, with the objectives of improving efficiency, collaboration, and decision-making. The program also runs a high-touch engagement model with senior leadership to promote adoption/usage of program content and better enable leadership to communicate and engage with the members of their organization.

The WorkSmarter Strategy Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end strategic planning and execution of the program. This will include management of multiple large, complex workstreams and ongoing engagement with Business and functional partners across the Firm. Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering closely with senior executive sponsors to set program goals and drive key decisions
  • Engaging senior leadership in LOBs and Corporate functions to identify improvement opportunities within their respective organizations, deliver content on tools / techniques, and measure impact

  • Ensuring successful execution of content delivery for all organizations in-scope

  • Partnering with Technology to develop, publish, and maintain firmwide materials on tools (e.g., successful use cases, best practices, demos)

  • Partnering with key stakeholders (e.g., technology domain owner, operation leads) to capture employee feedback for future-state planning (e.g., missing capabilities, new tool identification)

  • Partnering with key stakeholders to build out reporting capabilities to monitor content adoption, impact, and employee sentiment

  • Managing program tracking and communications for a wide variety of audiences, including executive-level communications, ongoing status reporting, and firmwide communications to all employees


 

Qualifications & Skillsalifications & Skills
  • 5-7+ years relevant strategy and project management experience required

  • Strong critical thinking, strategic decision making, and problem solving skills required

  • Proven experience managing large, complex projects and developing a program pipeline / roadmap

  • Proven track record in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and influencing change

  • Excellent executive presence and experience creating and delivering executive presentations

  • Team-oriented nature with an ability to lead a team and develop junior resources
