The CCB Data & Analytics Team unifies data and analytics talent across Chase to responsibly leverage data to build competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers.  The team encompasses a variety of Data & Analytics disciplines, from data governance and data strategy/partnerships to reporting, data science and machine learning, and are actively engaged in ensuring impact at the front-line and the customer through Sales and Marketing transformation.  We have a strong partnership with our dedicated Technology partners, who provide us with our cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. The Data Quality Manager is responsible for leading the research and documentation of Data Quality Issues for the CCB Data Quality Team related to critical business operation processes, oversight of data issues through identification of data quality root causes and recommended resolution, evaluating data use and privacy, and assisting in development of tools and strategies for data management analysis process in partnership with technology and multiple lines of business. 


Data Quality Managers are responsible for hands on analysis and guidance of Issue Analysis tasks across CCB engaging IT and LOB stakeholders, identifying cross impacts such as KYC, AML, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Credit Bureau and preparing analysis and documentation spanning multiple systems or processes.    Data Manager collaborates with business partners and technology to assess and mitigate data related operational risks in areas of use, security, privacy and quality.   Data Quality Issue Analysis Managers will help direct junior and senior analysts internal to the Data Quality Team and across CCB in the gathering and assessment of data measurements to research and evaluate issues related to data quality across multiple lines of business. 


Data Managers prepare the final Issue Root Cause Analysis and Documentation as an executive summary presented to the Sr. Management for issue resolution recommendation paths and management approval, with executive messaging and clearly understandable data supporting the root cause analysis findings and remediation recommendation.


Data Quality Managers will help improve data quality and consistency, and reduce operational risk by documenting issue analysis information, analyzing process controls and root cause, coordinating activities to support problem resolution, and developing tools and metrics to support processes, as needed. 


Data Management Managers are responsible for understanding metadata, usage, standards and quality for specific data elements, system flows and business process flows across CCB and Sub-LOBs


  • Excellent MS Office Suite Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of basic query writing and execution using SQL or other recognized data analysis tools. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum of 7 years banking or finance related experience. 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in data usage, process analysis, process improvement, business analysis or data sciences.
  • Expert oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in executive communication and messaging
  • Expert problem solving and analytical skills.

Preferred / Complementary

  • Operational business knowledge of processes, data and technology platforms. 
  • Technical Experience in Data Management/Analysis
  • Business or Data Degree concentration preferred.
  • Six Sigma or Root Cause analytics experience.
