The Role

Chase Consumer & Community Bank’s Data & Analytics group is looking for a talented, highly motivated individual to join the Capabilities & Innovation product team. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out products that deliver on our shared vision and strategy.


The Capabilities & Innovation product team is focused on making the Chase customer experience more personalized. The successful candidate will join a newly formed team that is working across business, technology and marketing teams to develop and deploy a Decision Engine that will improve and transform the digital experience for our customers through personalization-at-scale using Big Data and Machine Learning.


Key Responsibilities

The Associate, Product Manager on the Capabilities & Innovation product team will:

  • Independently manage and evolve a component of the product roadmap and backlog
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external stakeholders
  • Engage a cross-functional team to identify product requirements and define user stories
  • Prioritize requests and development activity, taking into account the product roadmap, business outcomes, and customer impact
  • Partner with a skilled group of technologists on our Digital Technology team to deliver and deploy high quality solutions through Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, LeSS, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the product support team to ensure ongoing maintenance and performance
  • Actively problem solve, gain alignment, and communicate product status to a diverse set of stakeholders across lines-of-businesses, marketing, operations, and technology
  • Establish processes and document methodologies, benchmarks, and key learnings that contribute to continued evolution of the product and the product team

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years with hands-on product management experience, consulting, technology, business analysis, or relevant transferrable skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to convey strategic implications and actionable recommendations to all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong working partnerships across teams, disciplines, and organizations
  • Skilled at presenting fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way; “tell a story” with data
  • Proven analytical and strategic decision making skills, including the ability to quickly assimilate new information
  • Ability and desire to operate at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Hands-on experience building products or running projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, LeSS, etc.) and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web analytics, customer segmentation analysis, and marketing analytics
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform to high standards while operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, engineering, technology, or related field
