As a Pathways Direct Hire, you will be placed in a role based on professional experience and business priorities, focused on one of a few areas including: Asset & Wealth Management, Consumer & Community Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate & Investment Banking. 


To ensure continuous development throughout the program, each candidate will receive mentorship, guidance, and support from your individual manager, program manager, veteran sponsor and many other influential business partners across the firm.


In addition to your business role responsibilities, as a Pathways member you will participate in training programs, learning sessions, individual mentoring relationships, and networking events. You will interact with JP Morgan Chase & Co. senior management and partner with a military veteran sponsor who will assist you with the transition from military life into our organization. You can also become a member of our Veteran’s Business Resource Group, an employee group that supports veteran causes. And of course, you will have the strong support network of your fellow military veteran colleagues. The cohort format of Pathways will provide you with a network of peers to share experiences and a sense of community amongst fellow veterans as you contribute to a business area aligned to your skillset.

Our Team

The iRecs Project Team, located in Newark, Delaware is looking for a Project Analyst to provide support to the project manager for the testing and review of business requirements, new product offerings, business funded initiatives, as well as support on-going enhancements to existing applications used and supported by the teams.  The candidate may participate in multiple projects or initiatives across various geographic locations.  Projects will involve stakeholders from and have impact to functions across multiple lines of business.  Project work typically has a substantial impact on the corporation/LOB and is geared towards revenue enhancement, cost reduction, risk mitigation, process improvement or other priorities as defined by management.  Ad hoc requests in addition to scheduled activities are likely.




U.S. Military Veteran Applicant Qualifications

Location: Newark, DE.

  • Enlisted/Junior Officer background and 4+ years of experience
    BA/BS required
  • 0-5 years of separation from military service
  • Demonstrated learning agility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Forward thinking and able to work through complex and unpredictable circumstances
  • Ability to adapt to change and achieve positive business outcomes
  • Ability to participate in scheduled Induction training in New York from October 23-25

Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing business requirements, test execution plan and UAT standardized test cases to be leveraged during UAT
  • Test new functionality and enhancements made to the various systems used by the teams
  • Coordinate UAT (user acceptance testing) across all impacted teams within the CD&R Space.
  • Facilitate UAT status update meetings including distributing minutes and ensuring all actions are closed out in a timely manner
  • Managing Projects via approved tracking toolsets and facilitate issue/defect tracking, metrics and status reporting
  • Partner with technology to ensure the design and build requirements meet business needs
  • Identifying controls and opportunities, providing suggestions to improve existing processes
  • Project activity/testing may require weekend work 
Business Analyst Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Strong organizational & analytical skills
  • Knowledge of agile project methodology
  • Experience creating business requirements and testing
  • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
  • Self motivating with ability to effectively manage ad-hoc projects
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues / workload
  • Ability to come up to speed quickly on new subject matter
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Visio, Project and Power Point
