About The Job

​​This job is a member of the Credit Union Team within the American Airlines Credit Union. This position will be responsible for overseeing mail services, document scanning and imaging and document storage and destruction for the American Airlines Credit Union.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • Receives incoming deliveries to be delivered throughout the Credit Union
  • Picks up and sorts documents for imaging
  • Processes outgoing mail and packages
  • Orders the delivery and pickup of documents from off-site storage
  • Operates and maintains postage metering system as well as the letter folder/stuffer equipment
  • Tracks and logs documents, postage and packages using electronically tracking system and computer software
  • Imports documents from the network that are electronically submitted
  • Works directly with all parcel delivery services and assists all credit union departments with mail services and maintaining copy paper supply
  • Assists users with research requests for documents and packages
  • Indexes and deletes documents from the imaging system
  • Processes and updates returned mail through multi computer applications systems
  • Trains to cover or assist with other departmental duties and functions as needed
  • Works a rotating Saturday schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
  • Responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • ​​High school diploma or GED equivalency


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in computer skills and data-entry
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
  • Ability to exercise excellent member service skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels both verbally and written
  • Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
  • Must pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks
  • Must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified
