JPMorgan Chase is seeking talented candidates for a role in our Card Services Marketing, Growth and Innovation team to support end-to-end marketing for Credit Journey, our digital financial health platform that provides credit score monitoring and identity protection services. The successful candidate for this role will be part of a team focused on building an insights-driven marketing strategy and roadmap that accelerates enrollment growth, increases user engagement and deepens relationships (acquisition / cross LOB growth). Responsibilities include management of marketing tactics, content support and oversight of creative resources (internal or external agencies).

 

The role will be responsible for supporting significant pieces of the following activities:

  • Write creative briefs for agencies

  • Manage the agency relationships (internal or external) for the development of new content, design assets, UI mockups, etc and help support the research initiatives

  • Guide brand positioning /customer segmentation strategy and hone in on key design targets
  • Create brand consistency and awareness across the platform and messaging efforts

  • Leverage analytics to draw insights on key user behavior patterns and seek out testing opportunities
  • Manage development of credit education content library
  • Prioritize content execution tasks against overall strategy

  • Support the marketing strategy for Credit Journey and the development/maintenance of a comprehensive marketing roadmap across channels/tactics
  • Maintain partnerships with cross-functional working teams and communicate updates/ successes to appropriate stakeholders 

This unique role will allow a multi-faceted candidate to join an entrepreneurial team supported by the assets of JPMC to help support an exciting new initiative. This role also presents an excellent opportunity to:

  • Develop experience in marketing strategy/execution and marketing lifecycle management, and cross LOB partnership strategy and relationship development
  • Build expertise in a variety of functions and business areas and provide thought leadership
  • Hone problem solving, communications and leadership skills

Key areas of responsibility

 

  • Support a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan that takes into account the needs of a growing platform that is scaling quickly and seeking ways to augment user engagement
  • Independently structure own work tasks and work collaboratively with partners
  • Proactively identify and own issues/resolutions end-to-end
  • Interface with core working teams (marketing, operations, servicing, and others)
  • Ability to leverage quantitative analytics
  • Ability to structure and oversee creative/marketing processes, including with external agencies
  • Ensure work aligns to the overall initiative objectives and JPMC strategic priorities

Qualifications   

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; prior experience in financial services industry preferred
  • Prior experience in digital marketing solutions and direct marketing experience required
  • Strong business and marketing acumen with an ability to identify business opportunities and deliver results
  • Past experience working in environments requiring diverse problem solving experience and working with cross-functional teams, including closely with or within an agency environment, preferred
  • Communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written), and demonstrated influencing skills to work in cross-functional teams
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, strong work ethic, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to analyze quantitative analytics
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers; eagerness to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment
  • Must have excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
