Dynamic marketing job focusing on the payer segment for Amgen's Boneportfolio. Candidate willdevelop pharmacoeconomic messages for payers to understand the value of covering and utilizing Amgen's Boneproducts. This seniormanager role will also work closely with the GHE team to develop clinical or pharmacoeconomic value resources for use with payers, including formulary decision makers.
  • Lead the development and execution of the strategic economic value marketing plan for the U.S. Bone market.
  • Develop short and long term economic value platform, FDAMA 114 tools to communicate value proposition to drive coverage with formulary decision-makers, and partner with the VBP team to identify and help execute value-based initiatives as part of innovative partnerships with U.S. payer,and integrated delivery network (IDN).
  • Work cross functionally with the U.S. Coverage and Pricing(C&P) team, Global Health Economics (GHE), Center for Observational Research (CfOR), U.S. medical teams including medical communication and global publication planning, Global Payer, Pricing and Planning team (GP3), Payer marketing, and brand marketing on data generation and development of the U.S. Value Communication platform.
  • Development of specific brand programs/tools to support brand initiatives and working closely to supportBoneC&P lead on various analytics and payer contracting strategies.
  • Manage relationship with key external Payercustomers and third party vendors to facilitate the internal legal, regulatory and medical review of the materials via the Materials Approval and Compliance (MAC)/Pharmacoeconomic Materials Approval and Compliance (PMAC) process. Effectively rollout and train the Market Access Teamon programs and resources for Prolia and Evenity
  • Develop nonpersonal materials in support of above brand Bone messages with payers or Porlia and Evenity
  • Support AMCP key activities, including Innovative Product theater topics focused on Bone with US Payers and other nonpersonal activities
  • Provide guidance, support and analyses to the pricing/contracting counterparts.
  • Coordinate activities with the Payer Segment Marketing and Population Health teams.
  • Provide field support to address questions, and participate in sales meetings and training.
  • Provide guidance and input into the U.S. brand planning process related to both in line and pipeline products.


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

•Strong business acumen, analytical skills and strategic thinking ability

• Proven ability to lead cross-functionally and to manage relationships within a highly matrixed environment

• Experience in delivering results through leveraging and applying marketing principles, strategies and tactics

• Learning agility and organizational savvy

• Ambidextrous thinker, able to both innovative problem solving as well as synthesize and simplify complexpharmacoeconomic data into a compelling value story

• Effective, audience-focused communicator
