In this position you will be responsible for solving complex business problems through deep quantitative and qualitative analysis to influence marketing and growth initiatives of consumer brands businesses including Freedom, Slate & Sapphire. On top of hands-on analytical abilities, the successful candidate should be a self-motivated strategic thinker & influencer.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems

  • Conduct analysis to offer data driven insights across product, marketing and customer engagement

  • Use analytical methods to segment customers based on internal and external attributes to clearly identify opportunities for growth, drive targeting strategies and measure overall portfolio performance

  • Actively monitor portfolio for weaknesses and opportunities; measure portfolio marketing/campaign effectiveness

  • Interface with business stakeholders to define problems and develop analytically driven solutions

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with product/marketing, centralized analytics, risk & finance teams


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as business, finance, economics, engineering, or mathematics. 

  • 5+ years of data analytics experience in product, marketing, finance or risk preferably within financial services industry

  • Hands-on experience with SAS, SQL, Python, R or other advanced analytical tools

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing voluminous amounts of unstructured data

  • Understanding of the key drivers within the credit card P&L is preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
