The Business Partner role is a trusted business, leadership, and employee advisor who creates value through forecasting talent challenges impacting business strategy, shaping and implementing people strategies and organizational change, delivering solutions, and promoting the right workplace culture that aligns with how the business goes to market. 


The MD, People Business Partner will lead the business partner organization, set strategy for people policies and practices, and ensure that our employees are provided the support they need in order to be successful.


What you'll do
  • Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity
  • Lead a large, geographically diverse team of people business partners, with a focus on ensuring that the strategies, initiatives, and solutions offered support the needs of our internal customers
  • Partner with senior leaders to ensure alignment between people programs and business needs
  • Promote and lead organizational change at all levels of the company
  • Direct team members to the right people service channel, including investigations for employee relations cases.
  • Serve as feedback channel between business and various people functions to ensure business perspective is understood
All you'll need for success
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience/training. Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 7 years leading people, including remote team members.  Additional experience in employee relations and other human resource disciplines preferred.
  • Action oriented results-driven leader with a natural aptitude for engaging employees in multiple workgroups
  • Ability to demonstrate a strategic and visionary approach and translate that vision into a simple and effective set of end solutions    
  • Ability to work with diverse business units simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen and make decisions with high level impact  
  • Ability to build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze data and make sound recommendations
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws
  • Ability to consistently practice outstanding business judgment with unquestionable ethical practices
