US Value and Access (US V&A) has embarked on a transformation initiative to create a singular services platform to better serve patients and health care professionals. Amgen has partnered with SalesForce.com, Deloitte Digital, patient service providers, and other technology vendors to develop a world-class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

The CRM platform has been deployed supporting one Amgen Product and implementation activities for the next set of Products are in progress.

Amgen is seeking a CRM Process and CapabilitiesManager who can partner with our Patient Channel/Capability Leads and Service Providers to understand the business needs and support the CRM implementation; including working with our IS partners, developing training materials and managing their approval through the material and compliance review process. This role provides the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of the CRM while working holistically across all product access needs. This position is based at our corporate campus in Thousand Oaks, CA and may require up to 25% domestic travel.

Job Description
  • Collaborate with the Channel/Capability Leads and other Business stakeholders to understand the strategic vision and to execute on the tactical needs of Patients and Providers related to specific Access Services (delivered through Reimbursement or Patient Call Centers, Field Reimbursement, Nursing, and other related services)
  • Work closely with the Channel/Capability Leads and IS Team to document business processes, workflows, and user story details to communicate needs to the Salesforce.com, Integration, Reporting and Data Migration developers
  • Assist the Product Owner in defining the Minimum Viable Product to increase speed to market while balancing the business needs with the expected resources constraints
  • Work with internal partners to ensure all deliverables meet Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, Safety and Compliance standards
  • Prepare for weekly Lead meetings, Service Provider partners meetings, and design meetings with the developers
  • Provide internal training on operational reports to Capability Leads to facilitate oversight over vendor performance and SLAs
  • Contribute to the delivery of the product implementation within defined timelines, while also capturing the change impacts on the users
  • Prepare for periodic team read-outs with the stakeholders reviewing the progress of team deliverables, demos to build confidence, user testing to minimize gaps, and increase user adoption
  • Partner with Capability Leads and outsourced partners to understand training requirements, contribute to the development of training materials, and deliver the Train the Trainer sessions
  • Manage the material and compliance review process of relevant user training materials
  • Provide ongoing assessment of training material quality including periodic reviews to ensure training materials reflect current business processes


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 2 years of operations experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years operations experience

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years operations experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of operations experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and delivering CRM applications for manufacturer patient support program call center, field reimbursement, and or nursing support program
  • Project management experience - Ability to work on complex projects and bring tasks to completion on time
  • Experience facilitating material and compliance reviews with Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, Safety and Compliance standards
  • Communication skills - strong spoken and written communication to translate Amgen business requirements into technical requirements, and ability to effectively navigate to win-win agreements across diverse internal and external partner groups
  • Experience facilitating train the trainer sessions and developing post-training assessments
  • Call center, or Access and Reimbursement experience
