About The Job

This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position is responsible for defining and creating test processes to ensure delivery of quality software products and mentor team mates. Provide test automation services related to system test strategies and solutions that incorporate industry standard techniques, strategies, and processes.   Plan, design, create and execute automated test suites for multiple applications with supervision by team leads.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Develops, executes, and maintains automated test scripts
  • Participates in the entire testing project lifecycle from requirements to test executions
  • Documents test issues and works with development team to validate/recreate issue
  • Documents test cases for the user story requirements for traceability purpose
  • Works in an agile environment
  • Actively communicates testing status, including schedule, risks, issues, defects, and potential impact
  • Troubleshoots issues by researching symptoms, analyzing impacts, and implementing solutions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years of hands-on native SABRE PSS Experience
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with test automation
  • Hands-on Airport experience is preferred
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience applying automation techniques and tools, such as Selenium, UFT, SOAPUI, and JMETER
  • Experience with different programming languages (VB Script, Java, C#, or TFS)
  • Experience with test automation tooling
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
  • Possess a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Airline industry experience, including business processes and supporting technology desired
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to explain concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
