The IT TAM Junior Application Security Analyst provides operational support and maintenance for the GPT managed security technology that enables protection, and ensures the integrity of the ADP brand.

Focused on identity/access management, this position will be responsible for multiple aspects of managing the access required by the users of the organization. This includes provisioning, deprovisioning, password resets and security-related audits while adhering to the governance and security practices. This position will also assist in the execution of the corporate information security strategy, and work to meet security objectives. 

  • Perform user provisioning and de-provisioning administration.
  • Identify process deficiencies and suggest process improvements.
  • Review and maintain process/procedure documentation.
  • Perform service requests received through the help desk to facilitate timely resolution.
  • Troubleshoot application/system access issues and answer general inquiries regarding information security practices or security access.
  • Perform user access reviews and re-certifications of user access.


  • 6 months to 1.5 years of IT experience in a similar role, or with at least 1.5 years of experience and familiarity within ADP.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft desktop applications, operating systems and servers, desktop software (Active Directory, SCCM / System Center, Office)
  • Knowledge in Incident and Request Management
  • High attention to details
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in shifting schedules; primarily night shift and weekends to support 24x7x365 operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Holding self and other to the highest personal and professional standards.
  • Preferably with SOX, SOC1, SOC2 audit knowledge or experience
  • Meet or exceed established operational SLAs
  • Administer security practices and procedures in a multi-platform, distributed computing environment
  • Knowledge of establishing criteria for securing data and applications across multiple mainframe, midrange and microcomputer platforms
  • Knowledge of RACF, CICS, SAP (RD3/BW), DB2, Lotus Notes/Domino, Active Directory, security mechanisms and techniques
  • General knowledge of security administration and database architectures
  • Coordinates with internal and external customers for new initiatives and resolving existing issues
  • Understanding of security control, procedures, and audits.
  • Can contribute to the resolution of complex and company-wide IT problems.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must have a positive customer focused approach
  • Can perform well in a virtual team-based environment
  • Able to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Documents process workflows, procedures, and resource database
  • Knowledge in any of the following is a plus: ITIL v3 Foundations, SEC+
