 As an experienced Infrastructure Support professional, your relentless dedication to innovation will have a positive ripple effect on both innovation and the people who make it. You’ll put your experience to work across the board, leading an incredibly talented team in areas like Change Management, Incident and Problem Management. You’ll be responsible for management communication and client relationship management. You’ll use your critical thinking skills to establish the team’s functional goals and set priorities and objectives that align with our overall strategy. You’ll oversee areas like incident management, change management, impact identification, management communication, Risk and Controls, client relationship management, service improvement, discovery/gathering/documenting of business needs and data and requirements. You’ll coach, manage and mentor people, both in-house and in working collaboration with our talented and dedicated problem-solving technologists across the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global network.


The Infrastructure Portfolio Management team partners across our Project, Application, Finance, Technology & Risk teams giving a holistic view and proactive approach to the Infrastructure Portfolio building strong working relationships with clients and businesses to effectively provide end to end infrastructure services.  Includes general administration and support functions for infrastructure services inclusive of infrastructure planning, tracking, reporting and managing usage.  Establishes infrastructure standards of use and risk protocols to secure the Firm

 

Key responsibilities:

  • End to End Infrastructure Portfolio Management
  • Key contact for CTO’s and AO’s for all their infrastructure needs
  • Financial Management
    • Partners with Finance to define the annual labor budget
    • Distributes the overall budget to the appropriate LOBs
    • Identifies opportunities and reports status for LOBs to reach annual tech efficiency goals while proactively looking for additional opportunities
    • Budget and Forecasting
      • Mapping roadmaps to budget Infrastructure Forecasting Estimation Tool (iFET’s)
      • Mapping iFET’s to DM’s
      • Monitoring change impacts to budget
      • Reviews Budget’s with CTO’s and Roadmap owners
      • Project Prioritization and re-prioritization taking budget into consideration on initiatives not in current year budget/plan
      • Checkbook review with iFET audit and maintenance
  • Plans and manages the Inventory/LifeCycle Management process
  • Coaching and training on inventory management / tools (SEAL, Verum, etc.)
  • Manages & reports status of prioritized Book of Work
  • Provides end-to-end planning, execution and status of key discretionary, tech refresh, firmwide, app modernization and cyber projects & programs
  • Understands project nuances to deliver highest benefit to the business
  • Faces off with GTI’s Brokerage, Provisioning and Network teams
  • Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects
  • Operates with Product Owners  & Architects to provide a list of priorities requiring planning and execution 


This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  •  BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  •  Expertise in service, functional area or Infrastructure supported and interdependencies     
  • Technological, Organizational and/or Operational Change Management
  •  Advanced knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met
  •  Ability to set and drive the business' strategic direction to deliver technology that meets internal and external needs   
  • Knowledge of financial control and budget management  
  • Executive level and mature understanding of IT Service and Delivery Management principles with a proven track record of delivering results and introducing practical project management techniques to programs
  • Resolve Team Conflicts
  • Provide leadership for key project initiatives  
  • Ability to lead initiatives/change across a large, complex, geographical diverse environment   
  • Comfort in fast-paced customer focused organizations with consistent process/organization changes/improvements  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Effective interpersonal skills including consensus building and facilitation skills 
  • Highly motivated and self-starter 
  • Experience within a development environment
  • Exhibit confidence communicating and interacting with senior executive management
  • PII data understanding

  • 7+ years experience in a large scale technology organization, preferably Financial Services  

  • Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives

  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations and to interact effectively with peers and management across diverse cultures 

  • Exhibit confidence communicating and interacting with senior executive management

  • PII data understanding
  • 7+ years experience in a large scale technology organization, preferably Financial Services
  • Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations and to interact effectively with peers and management across diverse cultures
