Corporate Human Resources plays an integral role in designing, implementing, and managing global initiatives across the firm.  The functional areas within Corporate HR include global Recruiting, Training, Talent and Development, Career Management, Diversity, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, Technology, Finance and HR Service Delivery ( HRSD). Our Human Resource professionals within these areas are among the most talented and innovative in the industry. HR Service Delivery (HRSD) is a team of ~750 who execute and support core HR activities for the 260,000+ employees of JPMorgan Chase working in 63 countries. 

 

The North American Payroll team services the US, Canada, and Bahamas, with primary oversight for payroll processing operations including all facets of downstream support. The overall North American Payroll organization has four main work streams; Payroll Operations, Timekeeping, Case Management and US Payroll Tax & Accounting.  Payroll operates in a regional model; U.S. employee primary hub is located in Delaware, and a secondary presence in our Bangalore shared services center. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years with complex, multi-state, end- to end payroll experience required (gross to net, taxation, garnishments, etc.)

  • 2-3 years in a lead capacity; managing a process – people management not required for this role

  • 2-3 Canadian payroll experienced required

  • Experience with PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Query strongly preferred

  • Experience with Oracle HCM preferred but not required

  • Results oriented to achieve quality results in extremely tight timeframes

  • Must have initiative, be self-starter, fast learner and team player

  • Must be flexible and adaptable to ongoing changes, to ensure success for the greater good of the entire HRSD global family

  • Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions

  • Must be flexible with extended hours that maybe required during critical deadlines

  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with changing initiatives

  • Experience documenting standard operating procedures

  • Possesses good judgment, recognizes when to escalate, appropriately seeks clarity and proactively shares information

  • CPP or FPC preferred but not required
