JPMorgan Chase seeks to do business with suppliers who provide the best price, quality and capability to meet our business needs. Global Supplier Services (GSS) brings together Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable into one team. This group of nearly 800 employees (in 11 countries) manages the source to pay processes for JPMorgan Chase and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client engagement. The GSS team works proactively with Line of Business (LOB) colleagues to identify capable suppliers, lead the competitive sourcing process and negotiate contracts with selected suppliers. Leveraging firm-wide buying power and controlling risk are consistent overarching goals. GSS then ensures that the contracted goods and services can be obtained by our employees in an efficient, cost-effective manner globally.
The JPMC Global Outsourcing team is responsible for developing, deploying and overseeing a program that drives the effective use of suppliers to accomplish JPMorgan Chase's strategic goals. This includes building awareness of the program at the firm and ensuring consistency globally across both the Lines of Business (LOBs) and corporate groups. It also includes understanding and dissemination of regulatory requirements and reporting to regulators on the program and status. The major focus of the program is to ensure our suppliers are performing to the same high standards that JPMorgan Chase holds itself accountable to including client service, quality, control, regulatory compliance, business resiliency and protection of information.
TPOC is seeking a program manager that will manage large initiatives within the outsourcing program and serve as a liaison between TPOC teams and business end-users to identify optimal solutions and help drive the project to completion. The program manager will need to create and maintain excel based project plans and track deliverables, create user stories where applicable and be a thought contributor to our large scale projects across our program. The program manager should also have strong risk management and controls experience, communication skills and experience managing large projects across multiple stakeholders.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and track program initiatives by conducting weekly meeting with key stakeholders. Must be able to identify and manage up any impact to plan.
- Hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables and any project artifacts required to support future audits and implementation.
- Attend and actively participate in working group meetings such as planning, standup, demos, and retrospectives.
- Provides content for product roadmaps, ensure timely delivery, and provides business reasons for any changes/revisions.
- Engages and interacts with LOB/CFs during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups, and requirements gathering sessions. Practices open and honest communications with the business.
- Acts as escalation point for business issues that require product change resolution.
- Works closely with Governance and Risk and Design teams to review and prioritize enhancement requests.
