Global Security (GS) protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, Security guard management and alarm response, crisis management, ATM, branch and corporate building security and customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, pre-employment screening, security operations on a global basis, fraud Investigations and cyber security.


The position entails the quality assurance review of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) that are prepared by Global Security.  Here is an overview and job description:


The SAR I&R Team is responsible for the final review of each SAR to ensure that it meets all regulatory requirements prior to filing; identifying, collecting, communicating all errors identified during the review process and supporting the remediation; providing regular SAR filing performance feedback and training to GI Investigations staff regarding identified issues; and ensuring the logging, documenting and routing of all qualitative and quantitative issues and gaps to the appropriate GI Manager; along with, tracking remediation efforts. To accomplish this end, the SAR I&R Team is comprised of an I&R Manager and I&R Inspection Analysts. The I&R Inspection Analyst is responsible for examining the SAR for completeness, ensuring that the SAR meets the FinCEN guidelines and requirements, identifying and communicating any errors within the SAR assigned GI Manager, and for ultimately filing the SAR.


 

 

 

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant work experience required 
      • Familiarity and experience with filing or reviewing Suspicious Activity Reports and knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting requirements 
      • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
