SUMMARY:
The PsyDoc Field Placement Specialist is an integral part of the PsyDoc Clinical Training Team, which consists of the Director of Clinical Training and ProSeminar Faculty. You will be responsible for performing all administrative support functions for the Placement Team. Will also perform additional duties as requested.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update practicum (BAPIC) and internship (CAPIC) site electronic databases
  • Attend BAPIC meetings (four times a month on Fridays at noon)
  • Participate in planning BAPIC fair and carrying out necessary tasks related fair
  • Create and maintain student placement files
  • Create and maintain database containing and tracking student placement information;
  • Create and administer systems for the completion and tracking of training-related written materials, including but not limited to placement contracts, student evaluations, placement site evaluations, letters of internship eligibility
  • Respond to requests from DCT and others for information about students and their placements;
  • Follow up on documentation requests to students, sites and faculty members;
  • Track and assist the organization of site visits by Program faculty;
  • Schedule Program events related to placement and clinical training
  • Disseminate placement and clinical training information to students
  • Assist DCT with the revision and updating of the clinical training handbook
  • Assist DCT with practicum and internship orientations and other placement related workshops
  • Verify course registration related to placement each semester
  • Create and maintain database of placement sites
  • Assist students and Program Director with the graduation clearance process
  • Maintain and order inventory of PsyD assessment materials


Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA degree in Psychology or related field
  • Experience working in the helping profession
  • Proficiency with Excel and other database related systems
  • Seasoned administrator who is an expert organizer and communicator
  • Familiarity with clinical training, desirable
  • Strong student service orientation


Additional Information:

SALARY AND BENEFITS: $42,000 FTE, DOE
