About The Job

This job is a member of the Talent Strategy and People Development Team within the People/HR Division.This position will be responsible for serving as the primary faculty for our development programs and works with other to implement relevant strategies, programs, and technologies to educate and help prepare leads to achieve business results while creating an environment that cares for all our team members.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • ​Facilitates leadership and professional training effectively by using a variety of delivery mechanisms including traditional instructor-led, co-facilitation, and virtual classes that span across multiple functions in a global, large size organization
  • Uses positive reinforcements and adult learning techniques to promote learning and skill improvement
  • Ensures a quality experience for our team member participants by taking responsibility for administering logistical tasks associated with facilitation and successful delivery of classes
  • Maintains class content and/or monitor and get help from others on the team to maintain that content
  • Implements of the enterprise learning plan and curriculum development
  • Supports the development and updates of course descriptions, curricula, and assignments in the LMS

  • Assists in the building and maintenance of facilitator guides & participant guides for classes
  • Participates in the analysis and assessment of leadership and professional development needs and trends
  • Evaluates and measures learning effectiveness and impact to show ROI
  • Handles follow-up with clients on large initiatives and/or critical programs for work groups
  • Works directly with third-party business partners to develop, deliver, and/or evaluate training and/or instructional materials

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate mangement/leadership/professional development for a large global organization
  • Knowledge in applying adult learning theory in learning development, curriculum design, training methodologies, and online education
  • Knowledge in facilitating and maintaining leadership development programs
  • Knowledge in conducting engaging presentations in business-friendly and user-friendly language to groups at all organizational levels using excellent verbal communication
  • Knowledge in organizing concepts or ideas in a logical manner and communicate them clearly & concisely in a leaning environment

Qualifications (Continued 1)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
  • Previous experience in delivering management/leadership/professional development learning solutions in a commercial airline company
  • Previous experience implenting large projects
  • Previous Operations experience at a commercial airline company
  • Certification in programs that focus on education, training, and/or leadership development (e.g. CPLP, ATD or SHRM, Franklin Covey, Ken Blanchard, DDI) preferred
