About The Job

This job is a member of the Integrated Operations Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for providing Senior management with an accurate, timely, and comprehensive evaluation of Company systems, processes, and functions as they relate to safety, compliance, and operating efficiency.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Evaluates Ground Handling and Cargo processes and functions and for documenting the results
  • Develops evaluation process tools and methods (checklists, interview outlines, etc)
  • Develops effective recommended solutions to findings and concerns
  • Facilitates Corrective Action Plans
  • Maintains and updates evaluation files
  • Verifies the implementation of corrective actions
  • Conducts evaluation data trend analysis
  • Works with IEP team to develop the eighteen month evaluation plan
  • Prioritizes planned evaluations using risk assessment techniques
  • Assists codeshare surveillance conduct audits of partner airlines
  • Some travel both domestic and international is required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Have 5 years aviation experience of which 2 years must be in Ground Operations at a 14CFR Part 121 carrier. (Other relevant experience, such as 14CFR Part 135 or military, will be considered)
  • 2 years prior supervisory or management experience
  • 2 years prior auditing or inspection experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to demonstrate competency, objectivity, integrity, and impartiality
  • Extensive knowledge of ground operations functions and procedures
  • Possess a thorough understanding of relevant CFRs and Company manuals
  • Proficient with computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Excellent communication and facilitator skills and possess the ability to formulate comprehensive reports
