 Role Expectation:

As a senior leader, driving our End User technology strategy and roadmap, you will combine your years of proven expertise with a never-ending quest to create innovative technology. You’ll lead a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are already developing and deploying desktop solutions to the highest standards. With your experience in client centric solutions and deep knowledge in design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming, the team will raise their game even more, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your experience in one or more technology domains will help solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. As a constant learner and early adopter, you’re already embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies; your example encourages others to follow suit. In addition to creating solutions with your in-house team, you’ll also work alongside our team of technologists from around the world who are just as dedicated as you are.



The ability to facilitate the evolution of the End User strategy for over 100,000 Community and Consumer Bank employees across all job roles. To develop and execute the associated roadmap required to provide each employee with the right-sized, right capability desktop and end user tools.  Including the establishment of program, project requirements, priorities, schedules and reporting.   The role will require partnership with Infrastructure leadership and engineering, architecture, application development, firm-wide End User platform teams and a deep understanding of the specific needs of a diverse set of client needs from Application development, business operations and Client facing roles through to Call Center and Branch based employees.   Delivering an excellent end user experience based on client obsession.

The successful candidate will also have the following typical abilities of senior program manager.

  • Organizational Ability: Ability to apply organizational agility skills working with Senior Managers and cross-business unit/LOBs.

  • Issue/Risk Management: Resolve issues through mediation or escalation to executive leadership for issues with cross-program/LOB impact.

  • Financial / Budget: Manage all aspects of the business case for complex programs impacting multiple business units or LOBs

  • Communications: Leads steering and manages all communication activities with executive leadership. Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels and backgrounds of the organization.

  • Project Planning and Tracking : Develops program / project structure to address situations not addressed by standard project approaches and methodologies.

  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Able to constantly make progress to program goals in the face of conflicting priorities.

  • Decision making :  Accountable for all decisions related to the End User strategy and roadmap execution, including those that impact multiple business units/LOBs.


  • 10+ leadership experience leading a large organization
  • Mastery of end user, application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines     
  • Command of architecture, design and business processes
  • Strong understanding of Cloud and DevOps.
  • Current knowledge of desktop virtualization, remote access, physical desktops. Mobile devices, Voice services and collaboration services.
  • Managing business case and tracking associated financial beneficial     
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  • Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
  • Deep understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) philosophy, Chaos Engineering, technologies, platforms and tools, SLA management, incident resolution, and automation
  • Hands on experience on managing operations of large scale internet-centric production environments for application or infrastructure services serving tens to millions of end users
  • 7+ years’ experience in managing
  • Managing and/or influencing infrastructure services to ensure end user and application service uptime and user experience
  • 10+ years of software engineer experience and/or site reliability engineering and managing operations leveraging Citrix, VMWare, vSphere, MS Windows Terminal Server and MS Application virtualization.
  • Prior experience in End User solutions for large scale internet companies/technologies, where uptime and continuous availability was core to the business
  • Working with Architecture to design reusable desktop solutions, provide governance around adoption, and influence application development teams on roadmaps and designs     
  • Identifying and partnering with Infrastructure teams and AD teams to implement automation opportunities to drive down toil and reduce technical debt
  • Applying standards of cloud compliance to application design to achieve reliability     
  • Understanding of Networking and cloud technologies, for example Security, Load Balancing, Network routing protocols
