About The Role:

As a Director, Product Management (Settlement), you will be responsible for growing ARC's settlement products revenue and will play a leading role in shaping the long term strategy and vision of ARC's settlement platform. You will lead product teams inclusive of product managers and owners, as well as focused industry experts, to ensure ARC's settlement products and services meet the needs of ARC's customers both now and in the future. You will lead the overall strategy definition, identification and evaluation of new areas for investment, and partnering with key business stakeholders to help drive the growth of ARC's settlement products and services portfolio. Your responsibilities will also include prioritizing existing product and service enhancements, developing new product and service partnerships, migrating existing products and services to ARC's new technology stack, and enhancing the customer experience of existing settlement products and services.

In this role, you will direct and oversee all aspects of product life cycle management including understanding customer needs/demands/business models, technology trends, and the competitive environment for a diverse and strategic settlement product and service portfolio. You will set and manage the portfolio budget and work with Product Managers on individual product budgets. You will manage the strategic product roadmaps, budget forecasting and strategic direction of ARC's settlement products and services in order to gain maximum benefit from each product and/or service. You will bring your expert-level knoweldge in the product management field's concepts, practices, and procedures. You will reply on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals for products and services and for individual team members. You will lead and direct the work of others including product managers, focused industry experts, and matrixed product development teams.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Set forth the vision and strategy for the entire product portfolio in collaboration with the respective product managers, as well as other key leaders on the Airline Retailing & Settlement team. Provide the tools and leadership necessary to deliver on product plans and goals, as well as individual professional growth.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Technology, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of quality products in-line with the portfolio's financial goals.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand portfolio technical architectures and development approaches to the product portfolio.
  • Assist product teams in removing blockers that interfere with the execution of the product and portfolio roadmaps.
  • Provide guidance for how product managers evaluate and prioritize product features for inclusion into product roadmaps. Provide guidance in integrating feedback from customers to ensure a cohesive roadmap for the assigned portfolio that balances the needs of a variety of stakeholder groups while also aligning with the portfolio strategy.
  • Work directly with customers to understand their strategies and translate customer needs into portfolio strategies, investments, and roadmaps.
  • Advocate and contribute to product vision and definition with the ability to "sell" ideas internally and foster ownership within the Product Management teams.


You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in airline revenue accounting, finance, or related area of expertise.
  • Experience with software development life cycles and the underlying technologies in which ARC operates to facilitate solution strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the product lifecycle and know how to create and implement strategies for products at each phase of the life cycle. Must understand customers and their needs and develop portfolio plans that deliver on those needs.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in the Product Management discipline
  • Strong presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders, including executive level management
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading multiple product management teams and diverse product portfolio.
  • Experience learning and articulating strategy and ensure product initiatives achieve strategic goals
  • Experience defining and communicating product strategy (value proposition, solution, positioning) to technical requirements across multiple levels of the organization
