The Role:

 

Digital Strategy team is seeking a highly organized and motivated Associate, who will support delivering digital strategy initiatives that will be defined by the head of Digital as well as the head of Digital Strategy in Chase.  In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in contributing to a firm-wide digital strategy enabling customers to experience an end-to-end journey from shopping, to applying, to engaging Chase and its partner products and services meeting their daily financial and life needs.

 

This Individual will be responsible for supporting the digital strategy leadership team (the head of digital strategy and his direct principals) in multiple digital strategy initiatives across digital and Chase. The Associate will focus on developing a whole or components of digital product and ecosystem strategies and white papers that span across market landscape, competitive landscape, user behavior and trending, technology trending, ecosystems, SWOT analysis, Go-To-Market strategy, recommendations and other while collecting validation data points inside and outside of Chase. The Associates will report to the principal, Business/Product Strategy lead, but will be also dotted line to other principals, Technology/Innovation lead and Research/Partnership lead, who will partner with all other analysts on respective initiative. The Associate will also be responsible for coordinating and managing partnership and meeting cadence with respective partners as needed to move the initiatives forward.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategy associate supporting principals who will work closely on each initiative in daily basis

  • Own and lead the part assigned on the highest quality in a timely manner

  • Actively engage and partner with stakeholders including corporate strategy, digital product/platform strategy, LOB strategy, corporate development, digital management, digital products, and others to collect requirements and information required.

  • Coordinate projects and meetings, identify and solve potential roadblocks, and manage the cadence of strategy initiative delivery.

  • Assist design team and their user research team to continually validate strategic hypothesis with real user data

  • Identify and analyze ongoing gaps in every aspect of operations including requirements, scope, process, data, hypothesis, and optimize them for future opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of corporate or product strategy experience;

  • 3-5 years of experience with digital products and services;

  • Ability to identify and frame the problem, identify the required data and its source, analyze data, build financial model, synthesize key learnings, present information and recommendations in succinctness

  • Ability to work with broad cross-functional partners on a daily basis and leveraging those relationships for excellent work product;

  • Ability to influence and present to stakeholders at senior levels to ensure proper awareness, support and escalations.

  • Structured thinker, effective verbal communicator with excellent written communication skills;

  • Proactive, able to work well under tight delivery timelines; ability to operate in a fluid environment;

  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team;

  • Be highly adaptive and have a collaborative can-do spirit

  • Passion for delivery;

  • Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Management or comparable field of study
