The Position:

The Mobile Self Servicing product group focuses on initiatives across all the lines of businesses within J.P. Morgan Chase to enable customers to perform many profile and account level transactions at their own convenience. This is part of a larger and rapidly growing organization with professionals in San Francisco, New York, Wilmington, Plano, and Columbus.  The group consists of senior business strategists, developers, interactive designers, product experts, infrastructure and architecture specialists, marketers, usability professionals and project support and operations staff that work closely with many lines of businesses.  (Consumer and Business Banking, Card Services, Private Banking and Home Lending)  Our award-winning mobile applications are some of the most widely downloaded in the country and our goal is to continue building upon that success by delivering innovative, fun, simple and unique experiences to our customers.

Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Mobile Product Manager to work on the rapidly growing product development efforts in all aspects of Chase mobile banking suite. In this role, the candidate will work closely with Servicing Product Group stakeholders to prioritize and with functional product teams in San Francisco, Seattle, and Bangalore to implement product roadmap.  This individual will have to quickly understand business' unique needs and apply his/her mobile expertise to help the business drive to a solution as well as collaborating with business and engineering product owners to develop a unified customer experience across all product landscape.   The individual will work closely with business, technology, and design experts and will need to juggle several mobile initiatives in parallel.  If successful, the mobile offering will provide added value to the business unit, JPMorgan Chase as whole, and most importantly, our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop mobile self-service features that provide significant value to the customer, and remove friction from the banking process.
  • Serve as a cross-functional leader to collaborate with design, engineering and business product teams.

  • Serve as internal mobile SME for the product group. 

  • Work with multiple products/projects/business units in parallel.  He/she must be able to come up to speed quickly in new business areas, balance multiple initiatives, while keeping a high level of performance and customer service.

  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives.

  • Engage delivery as tribe lead managing backlog and working close with design and technology to manage book of work.

  • Assist in defining the demand portfolio for the product group by collaborating with product and domain teams to create epics and ensure project readiness.

  • Represent product in leading agile transformation and help define and meet milestones for transformation.

  • As necessary, create concise, compelling content and business case to present and sell concepts through to senior management.

  • Maintain, evolve, and communicate best practices and lessons learned.  Apply learning to improve process and delivery of mobile solutions.


  • Must be proactive, results driven and have a proven track record of execution

  • 3 - 7 years of experience related to online and mobile product development

  • Strong knowledge of current mobile applications, devices and trends

  • Ability to demonstrate deep knowledge in agile lifecycle

  • Consulting background experience collaborating with clients on business strategy

  • Strong written and presentation skills

  • Familiarity with JIRA

  • Analytical with a focus on KPI's and measurement

  • Demonstrated team-building skills  

  • Financial services preferred but not required

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field required - BS or MS in Business Management or comparable field of study
