With the development of these innovative new services comes the challenges of providing an excellent customer experience of the identity and authentication controls, reassuring and protecting customers, and enabling them to apply for products and services securely and with minimal friction.


Digital Identity and Authentication – VP Program Manager


This is not a run of the mill program management role. It is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the most significant digital initiatives in the banking sector.


In this role you will be responsible for driving the delivery of a new customer proposition based on customers’ digital identity across the bank and with our partners. You will be leading the way in providing industry-leading methods, for customers to sign-up for new services, and authenticate themselves simply and securely.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Working with industry partners, product managers, customer experience teams, vendors and technical project managers to establish objectives, targets, and develop implementation plans

  • Driving the delivery of programs and projects to quality, time and cost targets

  • Managing the interdependencies between the other Product delivery teams and all the component activity required for E2E delivery of the required changes

  • Securing delivery resources from within and outside the digital channels

  • Managing the program and project status reporting, risk and issue management processes

  • Conducting periodic roadmap performance reviews with key stakeholders (plan vs. actual, key milestones/deliverables, management focus items, etc)

  • Managing budgets and financial projects for the roadmap

  • Maintaining planning, reporting and other PMO processes



You have:

  • Demonstrable passion and experience in driving leading-edge change in the financial services sector

  • Strong leadership and communications skills and the ability to operate in a fluid environment

  • 5+ years of program and project management experience

  • 5+ years of driving change in a large financial institution

  • Ideally, experience of managing authentication, fraud and security projects or operating in a risk management environment

  • Experience of waterfall and agile methods

  • Experience managing multiple bank and non-bank partners in a matrix structure




  • Bachelor's degree required
