Overview

The All But Kids Digital Content Head will design and implement the content strategy for DCOM. At a Macro level the ABK Digital Content Head will report into the VP of Digital and he/she will liaise with Digital Teams to create and execute a strategy that maximizes our engagement with ABK. This strategy will include LF from the Multiplatform Strategy as well as repurposed, original and even 3rd Party SF content.

He/she will liaise with respectively with the Multiplatform Director, the Digital Growth and Engagement team, the Product and Tech, Digital Data Insights and Digital Revenue Teams to implement DK vision across all platforms.



Responsibilities

1. Define and execute The Content Strategy definition based on Dcoms Value Proposition.
2. Determine content distribution strategy for ABK own and operated properties in accordance to the Content Strategy.
3. Daily editorial and data informed decisions for content publishing and hierarchization in order to meet traffic and monetization kpis.
4. Monitoring of analytics dashboards for decision making.
5. Monitoring content trends, specials, ephemeris and current event in search of content opportunities
6. Defining and produce special digital exclusives in accordance to Digital content strategy and Discovery’s standards.
7. Managing vendors: Budget optimization, up to date Contracts, deliverables quality control.
8. Strategic alignment with G&E, Dig Rev and Product for the optimal distribution of repurposed and original content.



Qualifications

* 5+ years experience in digital media, preferably within a traditional media environment
* Previous experience in Editorial and Social media execution and or Coordination
* Previous experience leading digital For Hispanics
* * English and Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency required

* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
