  • ​This job is a member of the Program Development Team within the Technical Operations Division.
  • ​Responsible for designing and developing training programs and producing, shooting, and editing videos and other content for all of our platforms (Website, Web Based Training, Instructor Led Training). Works collaboratively with training management, business customers, instructional staff and subject matter experts to understand customer training needs and create effective, skills based training solutions.
What you'll do
  • Creates storyboards, designs and develops interactive web-based training programs
  • Produces videos and develops scripts to align with policies and procedures
  • Determines course objectives and the appropriate sequence in which to address them, develops assessment items that accurately measure learning outcomes and implements learning strategies that encourage engagement, practice and interactivity.
  • Performs training needs assessments and analyze results to determine training needs and performance gaps
  • Works collaboratively with a diverse team (department managers and supervisors, customer representatives, subject matter experts, instructional staff, program developers) to research, design, develop and implement effective training solutions
  • Establishes relationships with key business customers and stakeholders
  • Delivers customer focused products and services
  • Some travel is required
  • May be required to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design, Training/Curriculum Development, Education, Organizational Development or a related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years curriculum development experience
  • Practical experience using ISD principles and the ADDIE process to include adult learning theories, interactive training and learning design, and e-learning design principles

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design, Training/Curriculum Development, Education, Organizational Development or a related field
  • Association for Talent Development (ATD) and Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification
  • Previous project management experience
  • FAA Airframe and PowerPlant certificate
  • ASTD CPLP certification
  • Working knowledge of FAA, OSHA, EPA and other governmental regulations pertaining to training
  • 1 year of video production, including digital video recording, production, sound, and editing techniques

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) related to packaging and uploading training content
  • Ability to build interpersonal relationships and foster an environment of working together
  • Ability to concurrently handle multiple responsibilities and projects
  • Proficient in MS Office, Macromedia and Adobe products
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
