Financial Information Reporting Solutions (FIRS) is a global function within Corporate Finance responsible for managing critical business processes and key financial applications in conjunction with our partners and consumers in Finance, Capital, all Lines of Business and various technology teams. The team occupies a unique niche that integrates components of business ownership, technology ownership and process and change management. FIRS is established as a center of excellence (CoE) focused on providing fit-for-purpose data for use in internal and external reporting while implementing operating model enhancements to improve consistency, efficiency and control in delivery. The FIRS team offers a unique culture and operates at a fast pace given it is an integral player in defining and delivering target state operating model and technological enhancements. 

The Strategic Execution and Governance team within Financial Information Reporting Solutions (FIRS) is tasked with improving consistency, sustainability, and stabilization of financial reporting processes across the firm. Responsibilities of the team include execution of the consumption strategy process assessments, analysis of functional activities that align within the FIRS remit and build of the end-to-end Finance controls framework for data. The team partners with senior stakeholders across Finance and Risk to drive the Book of Work and collaborates with internal clients to ensure quality delivery of solutions.


The FIRS Strategic Execution and Governance team Associate will be responsible for leading strategic programs across FIRS.  The Associate will partner with their team lead and key senior stakeholders across multiple locations to drive execution against the programs while providing FIRS management comprehensive program status updates. Included in the Associate’s book of work is the FIRS Performance Dashboard program. The Associate’s responsibilities for the dashboard program will include:

  • Accountability for overall Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and dashboard governance.
  • Facilitating routine FIRS KPI evaluation to ensure KPIs are in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Developing the FIRS Performance Dashboard using data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Qlikview.
  • Obtaining feedback on iterations of the dashboard and working to incorporate feedback through continuous enhancements.
  • Managing the dashboard data model and data intake process, ensuring the process is adequately documented and communicated.
  • Rationalizing and streamlining the data intake process through automation where possible.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/institution; advanced degree and/or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma Certification) a plus
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a financial analysis, business analyst, or other operations role
Skill Sets
  • Advanced proficiency with Tableau and/or Qlikview
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Product Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced proficiency with data analysis software (Python, Linux, MS Access) is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business, operations and technology partners
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work within tight timelines while keeping management and key stakeholders appropriately updated
  • Ability to drive / support change
  • Effectively prioritize and multi-task
  • Superior verbal and written business communication skills (especially the development of management presentations)
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to synthesize large data sets and identify targeted, crisp messages
  • Proven experience leading and implementing complex and/or large-scale projects and process improvements
