Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) is part of our Global Compliance organization and is responsible for developing and implementing the requirements and standards for the firm's Enterprise-Wide Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions Programs. GFCC is comprised of the core functions (KYC, Sanctions, Risk Assessment, Investigations and Transaction Monitoring), business-aligned teams and regional teams. 

                                     

The position is part of the firm’s Global Financial Crimes Compliance Program Management group and will be assigned to Transaction Monitoring projects. The Project Manager will support a wide array of projects including process change, technology and change management. Projects may include management of activities that support or impact multiple lines of business or functional teams, and cross-functional programs, including:

•               Mid to large scale program management

•               Tools & process methodology for mid to large scale initiatives

•               Negotiation of enterprise solutions, solving shared technology issues

 

 

Responsibilities
Project assignments vary in nature, and include support activities related to program timeline preparation, deliverables management, and communications development, phase end checkpoints and reporting.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

•               Develop and manage detailed project plans that capture dependencies, cross program impacts and defined milestones that identify the project critical path

•               Work with lines of business and program partners to identify the right resources, content experts and decision-makers to meet goals

•               Track and drive action items to completion, applying knowledge of the program goals to ensure work meets original expectations and scope

•               Coordinate and act as escalation point to ensure operational readiness prior to implementation

•               Document and track issues, risks and change controls

•               Prepare or assist in the preparation of presentation materials

•               Prepare meeting minutes and action items

•               Prepare metrics and charts for project status reports

•               Review, consolidate and distribute weekly project scorecards

•               Ad hoc support

 




Qualifications

•               College degree, specializing in Business, Technology, Operations,  or equivalent work experience

•               5-7 years project management experience

•               Minimum of five years of combined business and project management experience required

•               Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries

•               Knowledge and experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Project Workbench, PMI, etc.

•               Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio)

•               Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills

•               Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•               Ability to develop strong client relationships

•               Self-starter with the ability to work independently and balance multiple deliverables at one time

Preferred Skills

•               Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

•               Knowledgeable of the laws applicable to money laundering, including the Bank Secrecy Act, The USA PATRIOT Act, US Treasury AML guidelines, OFAC requirements, and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements
