The role is a part of the Promotions Strategy team within our Marketing and Loyalty group.  The Coordinator, Program Marketing role will be responsible for tactical level support with project planning, coordination, management and execution assistance for promotions that drive customer engagement with American and the AAdvantage program. You’ll bring your:

  • Ability to move projects forward without deadlines as well as effectively work under tight time constraints
  • Strong organizational skills to keep track of multiple actions, tie up loose ends and generally keep things moving
  • Strong written interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
What you'll do
  • Collaborate with multiple internal groups including AAdvantage Customer Service, Digital, Marketing, Customer Insights, Partner Marketing, Cobrand, Business Solutions (Ventana), and others to communicate and execute various aspects of campaign production
  • Manage campaign timelines and ensure that projects meet deadlines, which includes coordination with various stakeholders
  • Submit marketing request forms for all campaigns and approve placement creative, which includes but is not limited to aa.com placements, promo cards and email marketing
  • Manage all print and digital creative assets, QC all customer communications and provide campaign launch approval – must be extremely attentive to detail
  • Prior to campaign launch, assist with audience validation and email proofing
  • Intake all promotions center requests and assist with approvals/prioritization
  • Assist with executing the elite campaign marketing communications, internal coordination with business stakeholders (elite team, ACS, etc.) and managing the customer experience
  • Contribute by exploring opportunities for improved targeting and customer communications
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Must have experience balancing multiple projects concurrently

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Experience in an analytical or marketing role
  • Experience in working with agency partners

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to clearly convey updates with peers or leaders
  • Preferred marketing background, particularly with copywriting or communications, with an interest and curiosity about the latest marketing trends
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate and work with diverse business groups
