About The Job

Our Coordinators of Learning Operations provide support to ensure a world-class learning experience for our team members. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing training against budget, deliver efficiency of team resources by taking care of the administrative duties. This role partners with learning business units and talent development team to provide operational support (logistics and resources for all training classes/initiatives). It includes supporting programs that range from new hire orientation ‘Takeoff”, Emergenetics, professional development, functional training and customized leadership development experiences. We are looking for high energy candidates with strong organizational skills who demonstrate the caring, collaborative and results-focused culture that we are striving to create. These individuals will be part of the Learning Operations team.

About The Job (Continued)

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Partners with learning, business units and leadership teams to provide daily oversight of key programs
  • Provides exceptional internal and external customer service
  • Provide support to the learning and leadership teams in monitoring the scheduling and registration for the programs
  • Assist with logistics for on-site and off-site classes
  • Coordinates with the Production Team to ensure adequate class offering printed materials are in stock
  • Communicate with Learners to ensure class offering pre-work assignments are complete
  • Coordinates “Takeoff “ Receptions and class logistics including guest speakers, classroom materials, class registrations, hotel and transportation and more
  • Coordinates “Emergenetics” class logistics including pulling reports and managing team member profiles
  • Prepares and communicates pre-work assignments to class participants for all leadership classes
  • Partners with Dolce and ensures classrooms, lunches, dinners and receptions are planned and executed properly
  • Attends operational meetings as needed
  • Works after hours and holidays if needed to support class offering needs
  • Partners with learning, business units and leadership teams to provide daily oversight of key programs
  • Monitor upcoming scheduled leadership class offerings and class registrations and ensures they are within budget
  • Build classes in the LMS maintain class lifecycle from enrolling participants to closing out classes
  • Coordinate scheduling and assignment of classroom and facilitators


Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Experience working in an administrative or customer service role
  • Experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience in a commercial airline company with fundamental understanding of operations
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and functions as an integral part of a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service focused mindset
  • Demonstrates excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Works effectively both independently and with a team
  • Operate with a  high degree of self-motivation and self-direction
  • Demonstrate  time management and prioritizing skills
  • Able to perform moderate lifting (approximately 30-50 pounds)
  • Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
