The Consumer Data Privacy Product covers the establishment of tools and services to support compliance with existing and future privacy legislation (e.g. General Data Protection Regulation, California Consumer Privacy Act, Brazil - LGPD), including education of consumers (both customer and non-customer).

The Privacy Product team is dedicated to providing consistent vision and strategy for data privacy across JPMC and alignment with privacy law requirements which change and raise the bar for the collection and processing of personal information (PI) of consumers.

 

The Lead User Experience Designer (UX) will be responsible for driving a consumer (customer and non-customer) centric design approach from the product vision and report directly to the Privacy Product Owner. This role will act alongside multiple teams in multiple LOBs to deliver the user-centric (internal and external) online experience.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide design services for internal Data Privacy and Data Governance applications, along with prototyping for all Data Privacy screens (internal and external facing) to drive product vision

  • Assisting the Executive Product Owner to drive a consumer (customers and non-customers) centric Product vision

  • Within the Agile Scrum development methodology:

    • Understanding the true business need through working directly with the end user community

    • Supporting user stories with documentation (functional documents, InVision prototypes, etc.)

    • Participating in user story refinement to assist development team understanding

    • Participating in agile team ceremonies and meetings

  • Working with architecture teams to identify what functionally is being designed and impacts to architecture design

  • Working with UAT testing team to match design requirements with produced results

  • Working with the training team to produce and deliver training materials

  • Developing communication and presentations to executive leadership 


  • Required Experience:

  • Experience working as a user experience design professional

  • Expertise in UX software such as Sketch, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Figma, Framer.js, Quartz Composer required. Basic HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and tuxedo skills are a plus.
  • Experience designing applications within complex business domains
  • Has evaluated the goals and opportunities of a high profile, high value initiative and then worked to develop a program of work for the UX work stream which has included user research and synthesis, concept creation, design, specifications, design acceptance testing, and deployment
  • Demonstrable experience designing rich interactions for desktop, web, native, responsive form factors
  • Proven understanding of responsive web & mobile application design and wireframe development
  • 5+ years designing across multiple devices and platforms (UX/UI of mobile + web applications, experience with consumer application design preferred)
  • Establish and reinforce consistent design patterns across multiple teams and platforms
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Data Management
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders across functions

  • Comfort receiving feedback and critiques for driving customer forward
