Compliance plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's mission. The Compliance function supports the development and maintenance of a strong regulatory compliance culture by working closely with the Business, Legal, Risk, Controls, and Audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters. The Compliance function develops and maintains practices to identify, measure, manage, and remediate regulatory related risks, monitors and tests the operating effectiveness of the Firm’s Compliance Core Practices. 

Position Description / Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing an end to end Digital Compliance monitoring program, designed to identify regulatory exposure in a dynamic and evolving area of the firm.
  • The ideal candidate will possess JPMC institutional and system knowledge, technical software and coding skills and understanding of data analytics, including: data gathering, analysis and presentation of results (e.g. metrics, reporting and data visualizations) to relevant stakeholders in Compliance and the business.
  • The role requires a strong self-starter individual with investigative skills who can understand program objectives, controls design and efficiency and independently assess the risk environment.
  • Ability to research and assimilate large amounts of data from multiple sources, identify trends/patterns and create a meaningful clear output.
  • Staying abreast of the evolving regulatory landscape governing the digital payments industry to provide Compliance guidance in the holistic Compliance monitoring coverage of Digital.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a core team member, exhibiting strong relationship management and ability to work with data capability leads across organizations.
This role supports the Digital Compliance team for the effective execution of the firm-wide Compliance Program. The candidate may provide Compliance oversight of Digital in alignment with Compliance Core Practices: Governance and Oversight, Regulatory Management, Policies and Procedures, Training and Awareness, Monitoring and Testing (inclusive of metrics), Issue Management, Risk Assessment and Reporting, Risk Control Self-Assessment.

Desired Background and/or Training:

Experienced professional with a strong audit, testing, controls, data analyst, and/or technical background.  Incumbents typically have a minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, testing, technologies, process mapping. Experience in analytical projects from start to finish (data gathering, analytical assessment, project documentation, communication and presentation of results). Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and attention to detail required.
