The CCB Human Resources Talent Development and Readiness team delivers high quality solutions for developing and retaining talent across the Consumer and Community Bank, which is comprised of the following lines of business: Consumer Banking, Consumer Lending, Business Banking, Marketing, Communications, Technology, Operations, Digital and Controls. The team partners with the HR executives and senior business leaders to deliver a strategic talent development agenda to drive business value through leadership development, building professional skills, overall capabilities and effectiveness.
As part of this team, the Talent Development Associate will partner with Talent Development colleagues and HRBA/Ps in their aligned client groups to support the delivery of talent management, succession planning and readiness, promotion processes, performance management, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and team/leader effectiveness.
The individual will bring Human Resources experience as well as project management and analytical skills to deliver initiatives in support of talent development and readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of an end-to-end talent development agenda, including cyclical talent processes, for aligned client groups
Manage talent data collection and analysis to provide insights and business intelligence to inform the client talent agenda
Coordinate the delivery of select development solutions for employees, managers/leaders, and teams by partnering across CCB and the firm (functions, lines of business, regions) to drive best practices, consistency, and measure impact
Facilitation of a variety of team effectiveness initiatives
Materials preparation and follow-up action tracking for talent and succession planning and the identification of high potentials deeper in the organization
Advise aligned client groups on key talent processes
Uses formal project management process to manage a wide array of projects and initiatives including the identification and timely execution of deliverables, communications strategy and implementation plan
Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources, Organizational Development or HR Business Partner experience in a fast paced corporate environment; financial services industry experience a plus
Highly skilled in applying data driven decision making, managing datasets, data visualization and strong analytical ability
Proficient data analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative) and ability to identify themes/trends. Master at being able to connect the dots across many moving parts on multiple initiatives and “tell the story”
Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Additional ability to work in/with Tableau and other data management portals a plus
Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Can develop strong presentations and deliver them to executive level audiences
Ability to partner across a large, global firm (e.g., across LOBs, regions, functions, levels)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities – large capacity
Team-oriented, actively participating to foster a positive work environment with peers
Ability to deliver results accurately, quickly, and efficiently while adapting to shifting priorities
Self-starter who is results-oriented and able to execute using existing resources and tools
B.A. degree in related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience considered
Strong PowerPoint and design skills are preferred
