Commercial
Card provides payment solutions to businesses, governments and other
institutions for commercial expenditures, including business supplies,
maintenance, repair, operational expenses and travel. Our solutions and best
practices offer the control, reporting, reconciliation and financial benefits
organizations need to streamline payment processes and help turn accounts
payable departments into profit centers. Our online management applications
provide clients with the ability to establish spending limits, create
authorizations and workflows, streamline reporting and enforce buying policies
throughout an organization.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic
Sales and Partnerships, the CIB Head of Strategic Sales will be responsible for
driving the commercialization of new and emerging payables
products to Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) clients across all markets on
a global basis. This individual will lead a team of sophisticated Solution
Specialists (PSSs) responsible for solutioning across the complex client based
of Corporate & Investment Bank clients.
- Developing the vision, strategy and execution for
building a strong relationship and alignment with CIB banking and treasury
partners
- Developing a team of highly skilled and effective
experts in these solutions who can strategically solution across
sophisticated clients who have complex needs
- Grooming a highly motivated PSS team that partners
effectively with Bankers and Treasury Services Managers (TSMs) to close
large, strategic client opportunities and drive TS pipeline
- Developing differentiated client value propositions on
a scaled basis for these markets and products, supported by customized
client analytics and ROI modeling
- Driving commercialization of these solutions,
identifying new use cases that drive client value, and tailoring solutions
to targeted verticals/industries
- Understanding how bank and fintech competitors solve
for client pain points to inform our product development and go-to-market
strategy
- Partnering closely with our Corporate Investment Bank
(CIB) product organizations
- High level of integrity and professionalism; highly
motivated; outstanding interpersonal, time management and leadership
skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and
drive strategic and tactical execution
- 5+ years’ experience in Payments product sales,
marketing, product management, market strategy and/or market segmentation
- Experience with the commercialization of new products,
including market readiness, marketing collateral and successful pilot /
rollout execution
- Strong track record of delivering against objectives
and managing regionally dispersed teams
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into
crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of
senior audiences
- Ability to interact with clients to extract product
needs and translate needs into scalable innovative product solutions and
opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple, diverse engagements with
strong attention to details
- Ability to travel 50%+
