Commercial Card provides payment solutions to businesses, governments and other institutions for commercial expenditures, including business supplies, maintenance, repair, operational expenses and travel.  Our solutions and best practices offer the control, reporting, reconciliation and financial benefits organizations need to streamline payment processes and help turn accounts payable departments into profit centers.  Our online management applications provide clients with the ability to establish spending limits, create authorizations and workflows, streamline reporting and enforce buying policies throughout an organization. 


Commercial Card operates within Card Services in J.P. Morgan Chase’s Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) as a wholesale product for clients.


 


This role reports to the Head of Client Management, Delivery and Transformation.  To support the needs of this organization, this role will serve as a leadership team member and support the overall strategy for client delivery including portfolio analytics, managing client-driven projects, supporting team-wide communications, and internal stakeholder reporting.


 


We are looking for a client-focused, passionate candidate who have demonstrated success in developing and delivering against strategic initiatives. This ideal project manager will be experienced with teams, collaborating with product and service experts, and driving decision-making across cross-functional groups.

Scope of Role & Complexity


  • Own and drive portfolio assessment across products, segments and channels

  • Apply strategy frameworks in a way that drives business understanding and alignment

  • Build business cases to identify and prioritize opportunities

  • Partner with research teams, and investment and banking advisors to understand client needs

  • Build and present executive product updates, including performance metrics, delivery status, and roadmap updates

  • Collaborate with internal functional partners to ensure cohesiveness of the overall client delivery and visibility for all client-impacts and initiatives

  • Prepare and manage communications and business updates for executive leadership team

  • Facilitate business planning and business reviews across the organization


 


Skills & Knowledge


  • Ability to build relationships and partner with executive leadership team and line of business executives


  • Conflict resolution, change management, influencing, project management, leadership, delegation and coaching skills

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to desired business objective

  • Provide a strong risk and control framework on all assignments

  • Advanced business software skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Ability to manage multiple large deliverables

  • Applying strategic framework to business problems

  • Experience storyboarding or developing compelling business communications

  • Identifying and collecting business metrics

  • Coaching and developing team/direct reports


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of professional experience, ideally with focus in 2-3 of the following: Strategy, Project Management, Field Enablement, or Communications
  • Strong project management skills
  • Working knowledge of large partner relationships and industry business models
  • Demonstrated bias for action, creative problem-solving, and achieving fulfillment by "creating order out of chaos"
  • Strong understanding and experience with process management, operational risk management and/or risk and control assessments
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross functional initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence change and communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills, highly collaborative - can build rapport and credibility
