CB is comprised of Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries, Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries, Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking. 


Position Overview

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking Global Services organization and provides loan servicing functions to all four JPMorgan lines of business.  These functions include loan documentation, closing and funding, payment and fee processing, syndication loan and trade processing, credit administration and collateral perfection and management. 


The Process Ambassador role resides within the WLS Continuous Improvement Process Improvement organization and will report to the Continuous Improvement Process Improvement Lead. This role will assist in leading a grassroots global process improvement program across WLS by teaching employees key Six Sigma/LEAN methodology and tools and providing mentorship support through project execution in order to empower employees to change the culture.  As business needs evolve, this role may be required to lead/co-lead strategic and end to end process improvement initiatives/programs.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Implement a culture of continuous process improvement across the organization
  • Deliver training on process improvement methodologies and tools
  • Integrate effective change management and training techniques to drive enhanced standardization and process alignment across WLS product verticals & teams, globally
  • Coach and mentor individuals and teams on the practical application of process improvement tools, presentation and leadership skills to enable employees to fix problems within their control
  • Drive program engagement across key strategic hubs and product verticals by building program awareness, maintaining a consistent pipeline of program nominations and collecting feedback from key stakeholders to improve program and build momentum to scale
  • Analyze program data to track engagement progress such as site and vertical penetration and project completion rates
  • Celebrate program wins by leading project report out forums and overseeing the planning and execution of large scale project showcase events to further drive momentum in key hub locations and senior leadership teams
  • Demonstrate ownership in managing partnerships with multiple stakeholders across product verticals and key business partners such as risk and controls, legal and compliance in order to deliver results in a complex and matrixed environment
  • Regularly engage and gain the support of global product/vertical senior leaders by partnering to embed the process improvement mind set within their organization
  • Develop effective presentations & program update material suitable for stakeholders & business partners and communicate overall program progress and recommendations/decisions
  • Identify and share best practices across the organization
  • May manage Associate level Process Improvement Analyst on tactical program execution and governance
  • Execute end to end process improvement efforts by using Six Sigma/LEAN methodology to conduct current state process analysis, build future state vision and formulate actionable improvement opportunities by partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with leading/facilitating Lean Workout sessions with cross-functional teams

  • Required Qualifications: 

     

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 7 years Financial Services experience with minimum of 5 years of experience as a Master Black Belt, Black Belt or consulting, process re-engineering or change management role

    • Proven execution utilizing Six Sigma/LEAN & project management methodologies

    • Proven ability to teach process improvement methodology in the financial services industry

    • Demonstrated ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights and develop solutioncreative thinker with strategic mindset
    • Proactive approach to process assessment and improvement and identify trends and improve processes for both the business and business partners
    • Collaborates effectively at all levels of the organization and ability to lead and influence without having positional authority
    • Easily gains trust and support of peers and encourages collaboration.
    • Communicates effectively at multiple levels of the organization through both verbal and written channels.
    • Ability to connect the dots with limited and/or ambiguous information.
    • Flexible to changing business environment
    • Strong attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to develop strong client relationships
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft products such as Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
    • Ability to travel on a limited basis


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA preferred
    • Six Sigma certification preferred

    • Experience in robotics/automation a plus

    • Prior training experience
