CB is comprised of Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries, Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries, Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking. 


Position Overview

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking Global Services organization and provides loan servicing functions to all four JPMorgan lines of business.  These functions include loan documentation, closing and funding, payment and fee processing, syndication loan and trade processing, credit administration and collateral perfection and management. 


The Process Improvement Analyst role resides within the WLS Continuous Improvement Process Improvement organization and will report to the Continuous Improvement Process Ambassador.  This role will provide program governance support for a rapidly growing grassroots process improvement program across WLS & Global Services that teaches and mentors employees on key Six Sigma/LEAN methodology and tools in order to empower employees to change the culture.  In addition, the Process Improvement Analyst will also learn key process improvement methodology and tools through the program and lead and execute end to end efforts.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist Process Ambassadors with implementing process improvement culture change
  • Manage process improvement program governance:
  • Develop global program schedule, schedule/calendar classes, report outs and key program events

  • Manage program logistics: Reserve conference rooms for training, report outs and events across multiple hub locations & prepare learning materials, rosters and surveys

  • Build, maintain and execute global program communication plan and identify and implement innovative communication channels to drive program awareness globally

  • Drive program marketing strategy across WLS & Global Services and promote employee engagement

  • Enhance, maintain and own process improvement website and content in partnership with CB Communications

  • Work across Process Ambassadors to track program metrics, analyze engagement levels across the global sites and summarize findings that lead to actionable improvements

  • Analyze key project themes and organize events to share best practices across the teams

  • Implement and manage program scorecards and dashboards across key program attributes

     
  • Manage program training material updates and ensure changes are consistently communicated across the global Process Ambassadors

  • Provide end to end program showcase event planning and day of support for hub-wide events

  • Learn process improvement tools through the program and apply to key end to end efforts

  • Assist Process Ambassadors with training and work towards coach designation to mentor others

  • Identify, manage and resolves issues; Consistently demonstrates sound judgment by knowing when to escalate and to whom

  • Runs disciplined meetings with specific outline of objective/purposes, include the right individuals with clear outcomes and next steps

  • Identify and coordinate cross program/project impact across program/project efforts

Required Qualifications: 
 
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing, communication, data analytics, process improvement, program or project management experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in the financial services market, loan operations, marketing or technology 

  • Proficiency with project management with some exposure to process improvement tools

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business functions and processes quickly

  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (creating presentations), SharePoint, Visio, iGrafx & Symphony

  • Strong business analysis and planning skills
  • Experience developing data visualization and presentations preferably with Tableau

  • Experience with business intelligence dashboard and reporting tools such as Qlik 

  • Experience with relational databases to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analyses using tools such as MS Access

  • Experience in reporting development and testing, and ability to interpret unstructured data and draw objective inferences given known limitations of the data

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities and operates with a sense of urgency

  • Collaborates effectively at all levels of the organization and ability to listen, lead and influence without having positional authority
  • Communicates effectively at multiple levels of the organization through both verbal and written channels.
  • Easily gains trust and support of peers and encourages collaboration.
  • Ability to connect the dots with limited and/or ambiguous information.
  • Flexible to changing business environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS preferred
  • Previous experience with managing projects and planning large scale corporate events

  • Data analytics and communication experience  

  • Experience in robotics/automation a plus
