Position Overview

The MMBSI Business Transformation, VP Program Management position is within the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking team, reporting into the Client Experience Delivery Lead for the $20-100MM segment. MMBSI $20-100M is a high growth segment that is core to our Middle Market strategy, and is undergoing short and long-term transformation across client, front office and middle office journeys.  This role is designed to manage the delivery of the aspirational vision for Middle Office Digitization.  The vision for the business is to digitally enable the front and middle office with modern tools. The target will leverage new and alternative sources of data, and deliver a seamless, digital, and client centric Middle Office experience to both internal and external clients. The VP, Program Management will be working closely with product owners, technology, front and middle office to deliver the target experience.

The position requires strong collaboration with a diverse set of internal stakeholders, a customer-first mindset and front and middle office empathy.  The successful candidate would have experience executing transformation initiatives in the B2B space requiring technology, operating model, and people change.  The role requires strong influencing, facilitation and planning skills and the ability to bridge the strategic path with near-near execution.  Important aspects of the role include program management and oversight, problem solving and consensus building, agile delivery, presentations to senior executives, and orchestrating delivery across various execution teams, as well as oversight of initiatives to ensure benefit realization. 

Responsibilities

·         Program manage and oversee multiple initiatives aimed at delivering the target state for Middle Office

·         Work closely with stakeholders in technology, product, front / middle office to deliver target state

·         Understand current state, in flight initiatives, and interdependencies and navigate a matrixed environment

·         Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence existing and planned new initiatives

·         Maintain and communicate program dashboards, identify execution risks, and develop mitigation plans

·         Track and realize client success and front/middle office productivity targets

·         Communicate regular updates to CB and MMBSI stakeholders, including presentations, executive summaries, MVP demonstration and KPI progress  

Qualifications

·         Experience at a leading financial institution, Fin Tech or Tech company, driving transformation and digitization

·         Deep understanding of agile development process, product management, and transformation program delivery

·         7+ years’ experience delivering complex process improvement and technology initiatives at scale, collaborating with multiple teams / functions, and driving change within large organizations

·         Demonstrated experience managing through influence, collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders

·         Fluency with modern design approaches and emerging technology, including: design thinking, agile delivery, SaaS, APIs, big data, AI/ML, APIs, third party data sharing, etc.

·         Strong program management, presentation, and communication skills

·         Advanced Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, VBA a plus)

·         Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred
