Position Overview

The MMBSI Business Transformation, Associate position is within the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking team, reporting into the Client Experience Delivery Lead for the $20-100MM segment. MMBSI $20-100M is a high growth segment that is core to our Middle Market strategy, and is undergoing short and long-term transformation across client, front office and middle office journeys.  This role is designed to support the delivery of the aspirational vision for Middle Office Digitization.  The vision for the business is to digitally enable the front and middle office with modern tools. The target state will leverage new and alternative sources of data, and deliver a seamless, digital, and client centric Middle Office experience to both internal and external clients. The Associate will be working closely with the Experience Delivery Lead and Program Manager to execute on the vision.


The position requires strong analytical and strategic thinking, a customer-first mindset and the ability to operate in an ambiguous and agile environment.  The successful candidate would have experience in technology, operating model and process design, and change enablement.  The role requires strong organizational, facilitation and planning skills and the ability to deliver a strategy with flawless execution.  Important aspects of the role include project management, problem solving, developing tracking mechanisms and communication to senior audiences across various stakeholder functions. 


Responsibilities
  • Support the $20-100M experience delivery team across multiple initiatives to deliver the Middle Office target state
  • Work closely with stakeholder in technology, product, front / middle office and transformation to the vision
  • Understand current state, in flight initiatives, and interdependencies and navigate a matrixed environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence existing and planned new initiatives
  • Develop and maintain program dashboards, escalate risks, and develop mitigation plans
  • Build dashboards and processes to track and realize client success and front/middle office productivity targets
  • Develop communication and training material, presentations, executive summaries, and contribute to product and program roadshows
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in front office roles, consulting or a rotational program background is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile development process, product management, and transformation program delivery
  • Experience in complex process improvement and technology initiatives at scale, collaborating with multiple teams / functions, and driving change within large organizations
  • Understanding of modern design approaches and emerging technology
  • Strong program management, presentation, and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, VBA a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
