Given the critical role JPMC plays in the world economy, resiliency remains a key area of focus for the firm. The Firmwide Business Resiliency (FBR) group within the Chief Administrative Office is responsible for ensuring the adequacy of the Firmwide Resiliency Program in the event of disruptive events.  Working with key business and support partners, the team is responsible for providing corporate governance, awareness and training. In addition, strategic and decision support is provided for the various business activities as well as long term initiatives.

We are seeking a Business Resiliency Delivery Manager to support our ever expanding book of work. The ideal candidate should be process oriented with the ability to immerse themselves in the delivery of business resiliency solutions for our clients and the Firm.  Activities may include Client engagement management, BOW/Demand Management, project delivery, adoption/communications, data analysis and administration.  The Business Resiliency Delivery Manager will report to the Head of Resiliency Technology Product Management (BTPM) and work closely with our clients to manage demand, effectively communicate our approach and react in an agile manner in our fluid landscape.  It will be critical for the individual to have a change the bank mindset.


Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Partner with functional, LOB and regional stakeholders to understand key business needs, translate those into a clear, actionable requirements to be developed by technology
  • Deliver on key projects and initiatives, ensuring stakeholder engagement, status updates, and issue escalation
  • Overseeing and driving BTPM initiatives by organizing and executing on-time delivery of  key strategic priorities and objectives
  • Enforce governance structure and project management discipline and drive execution with detailed project plans, including definition of roles, responsibilities and milestones
  • Deliver program reporting and tracking documentation, including multiple work streams and projects across functions, and present structured senior management updates
  • Drive the definition and implementation of the BTPM technology strategy.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in project management and/or program management
  • Experience coordinating large-scale projects or processes across multiple teams/constituents
  • Advanced ability to closely partner with functional, LOB and regional stakeholders on projects
  • Capacity to execute on a broad vision rather than execution on specific tasks
  • Must have a change the bank mindset versus a run the bank approach
  • Creative problem solver, comfortable asking “what are the other options?”
  • Project management - proven ability to frame projects, establish required governance, and work across all constituencies in the business and Technology to successfully implement programs/projects.
  • Highly developed executive level presentation skills – ability to develop materials and messaging with little oversight.
  • Strong, confident, and clear verbal communications skills to ensure that the project status is effectively documented and understood.
  • Highly developed influence and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to develop strong, positive working relationships across a matrixed organization
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change, components of role can be fluid and defined over time as business needs evolve.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies and tools (Jira) preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools (experience with Prosci/ADKAR methodology or similar formal change management methodologies is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
