Migration Support Analyst

Job Description

The Migration Support Analyst performs task as a member for the CCB End-User Technology management team, in support of initiatives impacting consumption of end-user technology offerings including but not limited to workspace migrations, workstations, AppSphere, Workspace 2.0, software products, telephony and business collaboration tools.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in product and infrastructure support.
  • Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met.
  • Executes within a customer-centric environment.
  • Perform assigned tasks related to CCB end-user technology initiative with a primary focus on workstation migrations, such as Win7 to Win10/o365 (Workspace 2.0).
  • Interpret data from multiple sources, including CIMS, Active Directory, Quantum, MARS, VDITools, SEAL, AppMap, and SNOW, to determine a business’s readiness to optimally use an end-user technology offering.
  • Oversee issue resolutions and ensure successful remediation.
  • Perform analysis to ascertain application(s) are available for deployment on virtual platforms.
  • Support all technology migration projects in the analysis, package builds, and verify applications are available on virtual platforms.
  • Support day to day technology inquiries and questions from other team members and technology groups.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience migrating and / or supporting workstation configurations.
  • Excellent knowledge of GTI’s workstation product offerings such as: AppSphere, LVDI3, Mobile Branch.
  • Workspace, Virtual Workspace Standard, Virtual Workspace Professional, Virtual Workspace Enterprise.
  • Support other CCB End User consumption management efforts when assigned.
