Our Team
 
Financial Intermediary Services maintains a service-oriented support structure for establishing and maintaining key operational relationships with Financial Intermediaries for JPMorgan Funds.  Primary responsibilities include establishing and maintaining mutual fund setup, support, and trading for these intermediaries and sales teams within JPMorgan Funds. 
 
Responsibilities
 
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for executing key deliverables within the strategic business agenda across the Intermediary Services Team.  You will work across the organization including, Senior Management, Sales, Product Groups, Finance, and Business Risk Management.  Responsibilities also include: 
  • Reporting: Responsible for creating reports to track team activities that will be shared with management regarding activity progress and  productivity
  • Risk Management – Take the lead for the team documenting risk and implementing steps to reduce risk. Incumbent must be able to independently analyze a situation and create a solution that controls risk.
  • Procedure Development and Deployment: All procedures must be routinely reviewed and updated.  The individual must also identify trends and develop and implement procedures to improve current processes.
  • Project Management: This position requires the management of several multi-step projects of varying complexity with multiple deadlines. Incumbent will ensure all team projects are completed on schedule
  • Data Analysis and Management: Analyze and forecast the impact of new contract terms or share class changes. Review, monitor and reporting of data
  • Business Needs: Understanding and defining business needs in the context of short and long term objectives
  • Intermediary invoice reconciliation and support
  • Responsibilities also include providing back-up support to team members as needed


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or operations management-related field

  • FINRA series 7 or 6 and 63 licenses preferred
  • Knowledge of mutual funds and financial services industry

  • Motivated self-starter who can effectively contribute to a team environment

  • Able to exercise sound judgment and demonstrate strong decision-making and influencing skills

  • Proactive with a high level of attention to detail; quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong time management and organization skills; able to maintain a high quality of work in a deadline driven environment

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – i.e. able to deliver messages clearly and succinctly and tailor approach depending on target audience (internal and external stakeholders)

  • Strong Spreadsheet, database, and reporting skills.
